I called this morning asking whether they need suppliers for natural gemstones and the lady who answered the phone was a rude person as she just hang up the phone. I had more questions to her as I wanted to get 3 custom rings made for my clients who purchased gemstones from me. This location was recommended to me by one of my client's who made her ring with a product I sold to her. The second time I called the store just about after 5 mins to ask why she spoke in an inhumane way? but the lady who answered the phone said it was the jewelry designer at the store who spoke to me initially and was stammering to give out her name.
The local butcher lady would speak in a more welcoming way than people at this location.
Common, you guys are dealing jewelry, I don't need to teach you'll how important is to make connections with people who call the store or visit it. The owner needs to focus on better polishing their staff first with some customer service skills or may be teach them basic ways on how to talk to a human. Very rude experience encountered at Surrey Gold Room!

The Goldroom was recommended to us by friends and they did not disappoint! Char is genuine, down to earth and established immediate rapport with my husband and I. She was patient, walked us through options and they offered very reasonable rates for old gold which was a huge help to our budget. I found out personally why the Gold Room has such a great reputation. My fingers had got plump so I went in to get my ring cut and resized. The process was quick, easy, painless and free. No hard sell to promise to come back but I sure did. They carefully sized me up and I returned in a week with a better-fitting ring for a very fair price. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and courteous and knew what they were doing. Glad to have such a trustworthy jeweler close by.

Took my husband wedding band in for repair as he lost two diamonds. It was a well worn band as he never takes it off. When we got it back it looked brand new. We were very impressed with cost as well.
