Very helpful staff , i needed a piece for a shower kohler shower valve that is normally supplied by other brands and they let me have it to help out an older customer of mine that had a drip from the shower head and I was just doing them a favour and Universal also payed it forward, a great bunch of guys . Emco would have charged me $150. Just saying ?

Universal was recommended by a friend while discussing our pending complete renovation of 2 full bathrooms, ensuite and Laundry room. We went to Universal and were served by Nav who was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful to the point where we purchased all the major fixtures including sinks & faucets for this 4 room reno. We returned several years later and Nav recognized us and we advised we needed a cartridge for 1 faucet as it failed. We were fully prepared to purchase it but Nav wanted to check with the faucet company rep as these were high end products and we shouldn't have had that issue. Due to Nav's efforts on our behalf the company supplied the cartridge at no cost.We were very pleased and credit Nav's excellent customer service for this positive result. We would have given a very positive review even if there had been a cost to us as our shopping experience was excellent and we would/will have no problems or hesitation recommending Universal to friends & family. We equally highly recommend Nav to assist in negotiating their vast showroom of products.Thank youJack & Dee

The worst is that unable to offer the right product, and once they acknowledge they gave the wrong products, refuse to replace or refund. Guys beware and make sure to avoid this business. hope the company sees their employee's behavior too.

Worst drastic experience with Universal Supply.I wish I could give them No Star.I bought a Toilet Bidet from them. Staff was first of all very rude specially at Counter sales department, the Punjabi guy. Showed picture to them of toilet seat to check the shape if it needs Oval or round. He convinced me to get expensive one and Final sale.I called them the same day and told it didn’t fit and thats the reason I showed them picture, Being professional they know it better what will fit. ATTITUDE IS JUST NEXT LEVEL.When came to exchange it and get credit as they committed over the phone , They very rudely refused. Not my fault, thats the reason picture was shown to these ***** people. This was first and worst experience in my life encountering such unprofessional staff.This Bidet was no use for me.“ SO I HAVE DONATED THIS TO THEM , IF ANYONE NEEDS IT CAN GRAB IT FOR FREE”.Never in my dreams, I would recommend “ UNIVERSAL SUPPLY TO ANYONE” at all.I don’t understand how are these people surviving with such kind rude unprofessional attitude. Its been many years in Canada, First time I came to know that they charge returning fee also.And there prices increase in 2 days. Woww!!WORSTESTTTTTTT EXPERIENCE EVER…I wish I had read the reverse before going there, This Bussiness should be sued. Escalated the matter to Head Office. Waiting for their reply, will proceed further from there.

I purchased all of my plumbing supplies and fixtures from Universal Supply Surrey for my new house builds. At the time of purchase company rep spoke highly of the company, its products, warranties, etc etc.When it came to dealing with an issue, I dealt with the rep for many months (after not getting any response), I then contacted Colin. After speaking with Colin and asking him to assist me in dealing with an issue with the manufacturer (that I had already established was in warranty), Colin basically put it back in my court. So no solution or any compensation or service from the supplier that I paid $1000's of dollars to!I will have to figure this out on my own with the manufacturer of the product - a simple switch.I am very disappointed with the service I received, it doesn’t suit to a company which is claiming to be established since 1940.I WOULD NOT recommend this company, go to a company that values the clients and is willing to go to bat for the customer!

The worst customer service ever! I will not recommend this place to anyone. Staff is completely clueless and useless. I was there with my family for atleat 30 minutes and it seemed like if staff there had no idea what they had in stock. We got four different answers from four different staff members. One staff member said that he’ll be back in 5 minutes to help us but he never bothered to show his face again or had courtesy to send someone else. After good ten minutes another staff member came downstairs to help us but again, had no idea what they had in stock. After long waiting period, we just left. What surprised me the most was they weren’t even busy.
Never again!!
