Awesome. Seniors day, 30% off. Staff are very attentive. Store is well stocked, very clean and organized. This is our favourite Value Village. They are on game! Our favourite VV in greater Vancouver.

Prices at this location are crazy expensive. But the staff were very friendly and helpful. Sophia took her time helping me with my purchases, she was very friendly and helpful!

It’s a good place if you want to buy household items at very affordable prices. It’s good place for shopping especially if you are looking for something good but at very low cost. This is a non profit organization and we help the community in a way when we buy stuff from this store. It’s located right on the king George highway and easy to find and you can go there by car or bus.

The location is fantastic, but the self-checkout staff were impolite and unwelcoming. They seemed to scrutinize every item as if we were trying to take them for free. Not recommended to the people who love their self-respect.

No change rooms... Obviously because of covid but when you're a rushed parent and you don't have much time it would be great to have. Also a bit unorganized

Having recently moved to Surrey from Abbotsford, I finally made my first visit to this particular Value Village. I very much enjoy thrift store shopping and have been to most of the ones in the Fraser Valley and many in Greater Vancouver over the last several decades. Without a doubt this was by far the worst experience in any of them! When I stepped through the door the odor of unclean clothes and/or bodies was apparent and permeated the entire place - not something typical of thrift stores. Far too much of the stock was incorrectly or randomly located and sizes too often misplaced - such things create huge waste of time and increase frustration - which is bad for the business bottom line as shoppers end up buying less and are less inclined to return. Most of all I was surprised at the condition of much of the stock that I looked at - 3 pairs of pants - 3! - had the backside seam completely ripped open and another pair had the legs torn up (not in a fashion statement way). All of them were properly tagged but while I realize tag switching is sometimes done, that is an unlikely cause for that many to be found in one visit. I ended up not looking for pants further consequently. The only positive to this visit was when I saw that ALL of the tills were self checkout and found a staff person to help me (I am always willing to wait patiently but do NOT like being a customer as well as an unpaid employee!), she was very pleasant and cheerful and willing. There were several items that didn't scan properly for her and she needed help from other staff, so I would have ended up needing help anyway, which to me reinforces the idea that the self checkout system is overrated and should never appear to customers to be the exclusive option. The management in this location really needs to implement some serious changes.

people who love reusing stuff, this is a good place to be. You can get kitchen stuff to shoes, and other house deco stuff from here. Sometimes you get good furniture as well. For new comers it is a good place to explore and you can pretty much start your kitchen and bedroom stuff...

Value village is certainly a great place to get gently used items of clothing. Usually the items are not new by any means, but occasionally a new item with store tags can be found. $6-$10 for a man's short sleeve shirt is an example of the prices. They also carry most of the stuff you will find in thrift shops. I prefer to support the charity thrift stores but VV is huge and has a tremendous selection.Customer service is lacking because they appear to be short staffed and the ones who are there are super busy, but still friendly. Most of the checkouts are self-service.

The staff at the check out were really rude. 3 ladies, all older with dark hair, one with glasses. One of the tags was tagged with wrong product type and it seemed like they were accusing me of switching. You cant take off the tag without ripping it... It was tagged as $4, and they went to change to the correct one which was $6. Then they went and checked all the other items i already scanned and folded nicely on the side. Took them to their computer, without saying anything. Gave it back and walked away. During that time, one lady was just hovering beside me. I felt so uncomfortable. I should of got their names because that is not how you treat someone, let alone work in a service industry. Once i got back the items, i quickly paid and left because of how i felt.It was a mistake on their end but the whole situation they made me feel horrible with their judgemental stares. Please be nicer and treat people (your customers) with decency and respect.

My mom and I have been thrifting our whole lives and have been coming to this location for years. Today we had an extremely negative experience with one of the managers. She is tall with black hair and Asian decent. (I didn’t ask her name I was too upset) My mom needed a price check on two shapewear items and she ended up pricing them at 15$ each which we thought was extremely over priced. So I mentioned it to her and asked why they were so expensive she said if you get a bigger size then you have to pay more for more fabric. I was shocked she would even say this. If you shop anywhere you never have to pay extra for a bigger size. Very sad and upset she thought it was okay to bring up someone’s size. Please train your managers better!

Not bad location but the store needs to cleaned and the prices of used possessions is outrageous. Alot of items are way too over priced. I understand the owners have staff and over head to pay but this is a bit much given the current economic uptick in food, gas, housing, rent.

I just had the WORST customer experience in my life, thanks to the Manager Dahlia. It all started when i asked her to exchange some clothes that I have bough at the New Westminster store and she accused me of tapering the clothes (who would do that in a donation store?), so she refused to exchange two of my items and she insisted that I have tampered the tags. After that she was trying to teach me how to behave in front of my daugher... REALLY?? who is she?? and to complete the full experience, she told me to shop at Salvation Army (because I was telling her about her attitude and the prices that went up really high, even though this comes from DONATIONS). Anyway, I found out later that she is the manager, so GREAT JOB, Value Village, for having someone like her in your MANAGEMENT team. EXCELLENT customer skills (ironic). By reading a lot of comments here, I can see that most of the people always complains about the PRICES (its abusrd, sometimes more expensive than in a real clothe store) as well as the Management attitude (they are full of s...) too bad for a store that has always been able to help the community, now they are thinking that they can sell donation stuff with retail store prices. Congratulations!!!!!!! Amazing service you are providing to our community! I will definitely not come back to this store, as well as all my donations are going to Salvation Army instead. CHANGE YOUR MANAGEMENT STAFF... THEY ABSOLUTELY S U C K
