I have had THE WORST experience banking with these guys opened my account about 8 years ago and been with them since unfortunately as of lately the experience has been very bad i got my money LITERALLY stolen TWICE and on top of all that their staff is absolutely terrible dealt with a lady there named Marie El-Abed and she was very rude very disrespectful to the point where i literally had to WALK AWAY “assistant branch manager” okay MaRiE you just caused the bank who u work for a client and you gained a reputation that is worst of worst i obviously ended up taking my funds and cancelled my account with them, please for the love of god if you are looking for a bank don’t go here because i promise you i have never met someone that banks with these guys that had anything nice to say… what a waste of time.

Vancity have my business. Great environmental portfolio, and caring staff. I used to bank with another credit union, but they just kept going downhill. This one's good - deal with Guy a lot. Awesome.

Dealt with Kelly in the finance department and Guy as my financial advisor, fantastic to deal with, very responsive to emails and both take the time to explain everything clearly. Will definitely bring my business back here in the future!

Vik got me approved for my first credit card after years of being rejected and not knowing why. He has also helped out my family since 2015 with our banking needs. He offers exceptional customer service and really goes above and beyond the customer's expectations. If it wasn't for Vik, I probably would have switched over to TD just because I find the Vancity app extremely slow and I find it odd how you just have to say your password to the bank teller to get access to your account - it doesn't seem the most secure to me. Also when I used my credit card for the first time I did not have to inset the PIN number, just insert chip and it was approved. After that, I could tap to pay. Also, in order to get on the phone with Vancity, I had to wait all day on multiple occasions. You are better off just visiting a branch instead of phoning!

I have been a member of Vancity for over 15 years. I find them to really care about their clients and do the best they can to get your needs met. I would give them a 5 star but lately they have been short staffed and have had to wait a longer than expected making me feel a bit impatient, also they have been changing staff a bit too often which in my opinion means they may be having management issues. Just my opinion however. All in all they are a great local bank for the locals.

Can't say enough, finally a team that cares! Thanks to Guy and Rita for taking such good care of us. I got fed up with the beyond dreadful service from my bank that I was with for 50 years.
This branch is like a family and we became a part of it....unbelievable.

Stay away from this van city at Morgan creek if you value your money and time. They are incompetent and run their operation as half trained disorganized employees. I went in for a simple mortgage renewal as I had moved from Vancouver to Surrey. It was a complete gong show, the manager I worked with forgot to send documents several times and then forgot the terms we discussed on 2 separate meetings. She then had me sign documents and again screwed up the terms. Six months later I had to go to another vancity branch in Vancouver to get everything straightened out. And there was never an apology for the error mades. They are not well trained mortgage or financial consultants at this bank. Beware.
