Just a quick shout out to Vindii, our favourite Member Services Representative at the South Surrey Vancity branch! She is just so gosh darn competent, experienced and has an uncanny ability to quickly zone in and problem solve any presenting issues, in addition to provide sound advice and information in so many areas and options 'all things Vancity'. On top of all of this, she is incredibly KIND, authentic & extremely caring. She bring genuine membership connection to a whole new level! Thank you for being so awesome Vindii!

I’ve just moved from Richmond to White Rock and yesterday was my first time visiting the 152nd Street branch. My teller was Susanne (sp?) and she was so sweet and helpful! Very friendly place.

On Friday June 7th. I went to this branch to have some cash. Reception lady said hello hi with a greeting. Then there was no line. I was happy normally when I visit Newton branch Surrey is always busy. There was one cashier dealing with the customer and no other staff was there. As soon the customer left the staff she went inside. Another staff was on the chair and I looked at her and thought maybe she will serve as she was free. She said the other staff will be back. This branch is bigger than the other VanCity branches. I waited and no body bothers to serve me. After waiting for a while I asked the lady at reception, are all the staff on break, nobody is working. She looked at the staff but nobody was there. She said I will help you. She helped me out. I was shocked that so many staff members were working and nobody wanted to do their job. I thanked the receptionist and left. The time was between 13:15 to 13:45. The staff get paid to do their job not go inside and chat. I am never going to visit that branch again. I am dealing with VanCity for more than 10 years. I am not going to recommend anyone to go to this branch particularly. I hope the manager of this branch will go with the staff and do a refresher course.

Terrible service, bad attitude, rude staff. I just stood in line for almost ten minutes while the lone available teller chatted with another customer. She looked me up and down and then sneered and ignored me. Unbelievably bad service. As a Vancity customer for 25 years I am appalled by the attitude of the staff at this location.

This South Surrey/White Rock branch of Vancity has been a pleasure to do business with for many years. I transferred from Vancity branches in the Fraser Valley when I opened my business here in S. Surrey. I mostly do online banking or ATM, BUT for the "big" stuff, the Important business I sometimes have to see a person in the branch and they ALWAYS do exactly what needs to be done and it works out completely easily and smoothly. I'm grateful and happy.

I went in to convert my RRSPs into a RIF because I turned 71. After two appointments I still had no paperwork from them. This has been my beef with them for a number of years. I have a number of RRSPs with them and have asked them for the last three years for written statement of all my accounts at least once a year which they have never provided. Yes I have online banking but one statement a year for all investments did not seem unreasonable. I did however receive a monthly statement for one account for ONE cent which I asked them to discontinue but they never did. When I went to the BMO this January to transfer everything to them , I had to go back to Vancity to get the paperwork I was trying to get in the fall. Most frustrating bank I have ever dealt with. That day there was one teller, people sitting at desks all around,and a lineup to the door. Extremely poor service and unhelpful staff. Over the years I felt like Vancity made things very unclear and confusing. My husband had a 10000 dollar RRSP there which he never received any statements for . He does not do online banking so again we had to ask for a statement for that. Can hardly wait to close up everything there!! On the other hand I had an RRSP at Coast Capital nearby where I went in November. It took about ten minutes and I came out of there with the paperwork I needed to make the transfer. They were great !

Long wait times...never enough tellers working....management sits in their GLASS OFFICES and watch the line grow....not like the Langley branch....sometimes i wished the staff were simply swapped
