Good selection here usually and it stays really busy. The customer service people had a lot of common sense and were extra considerate and helpful thanks to their cultures and they were being cute and funny with coworkers with diverse backgrounds too ? I don't think I'd want to do too many online orders here to bother them when they're so busy though

BASICALLY, while u are attending a customer, Not chatting with ur colleague would be considered as a good customer service. BUT, The girl working there started chatting with her friend standing in front of her in self check out area as soon as she started scanning my stuff. I WORK AS WELL, BUT THERE ARE SOME ETIQUETTE WHILE ATTENDING A CUSTOMER. DROP YOUR ATTITUDE AT HOME AND BEHAVE WELL WITH CUSTOMERS.STAFF SHOULD BE GIVEN SOME INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ATTEND AND BEHAVE PROPERLY IN FRONT OF A CUSTOMER.

Got fooled twice, wasted 3 hours.The day before Black Friday at this Walmart, I switched my phone from Fido to Virgin. Before receiving confirmation from Fido about the transfer, the salesperson told me to take out the Fido SIM card and replace it with Virgin's. When I noticed the transfer wasn't successful and asked, the salesperson said to wait for 20 minutes. After waiting for 30 minutes and still no success, I went back to the salesperson. She claimed to be very busy and asked me to go home, leaving the Fido SIM card to her. She said that when the customer flow eased up, she would resubmit the request to Fido, and my phone would automatically switch successfully. She promised to send a message to my wife's phone after the transfer was successful. I trusted her.But until today, my phone hasn't successfully switched. I called Virgin for an hour, no answer. Then waited for 30 minutes on an Virgin online chat, and they redirected me to Virgin's mobile support. After 20 minutes on hold, I finally got through to Virgin's mobile support, and they initiated the transfer request again, but I need to call Fido's customer service to request the release of my phone number. Spent 2 hours calling Fido, still couldn't get through. If Walmart's staff hadn't misled me into thinking they could handle the transfer and if I had just replied YES to Virgin's transfer request after they asked.Don't ever believe the salespeople will handle it for you afterward. It must be completed on the spot.

WORST and HORRIBLE Walmart Ever. Not even a single thing I have bought from here is good got Christmas lights stopped working in a day got Christmas tree the stand below is broken. Got Iron that is not heating anymore. The iron pad is not sturdy, and the list goes on. Is buying and giving back is the only thing I am suppose to do in my life. And let me tell you these are not cheap things it costed me more than $60 respectively + taxes.On the other hand the mall entry to the mall is closed most of the evenings why do I have to walk all the way from outside entrance when it’s sooo cold. Please understand you are here for people.This store is sooooo filthy, gross and unorganized that I can’t even mention here also you will never find any store person to help you when you need anything.The quality of vegetables is the worst. The juices kept on the shelves change their colours and still they want to keep it on shelves.This Walmart should be shut for bad standards.

Garbage customer service. Inattentive staff, too bust socializing to tend to store or customers, quickly pass the buck ( "go talk to cashiers"). Store is a mess. Waited, literally, 45 mins to get a case unlocked in hardware, never actually happened. Nobody came to unlock the paint even after 2 calls over the intercom So I had to leave without being able to make my intended purchase. I haven't been to Walmart in awhile, now I remember why. Will just go to home depot instead. IT MAY COST A DOLLAR MORE BUT AT LEAST I CAN ACTUALLY PURCHASE IT.

I get that they are busy which can be exhausting at times but the girl on the counter 1 around 6 pm was very rude. No greetings, threw the items after scanning on table. No thank you….please at least be nice to customers who are nice to you…

Horrible, dirty and ignorant staff always.Today I waited at the till while two staff just chatting in their language, finally I said can I pay for my stuff. She rang it in, didn't even tell me how much or anything. Gave her cash then she dumped my change on the counter while I had my hand out for the change.Escalators are always broken, store dirty.. if you pay upstairs and try to leave out the front it's all blocked so you have to squeeze by a lineup of people waiting at a till.Just ignorant talking in their language while serving people and no communication to the customers! There's never enough tills open, long lines then they waste time trying to get you to fill out for credit cards while there is a line. The self checkout only takes a few people at a time. I WONT go back to this dumpy and ignorant Walmart!

I would give this 2 1/2 stars if I could it’s not bad, but it seems the employees are overly concerned with theft and like to follow you around for whatever reason even if you’re just grabbing groceries if you’re walking at a slightly faster than normal pace. It seems they think you’re up to something ha ha ha anyways they have a good selection of East Indianfood and different flavoured things like chips and mystery. Fanta it’s kind of funny how the east Indian aisle is right beside the cracker aisle.

in the past few trips, i haven’t been able to find the items i am looking for easily. most items are either misplaced, out of stock or not available that used to be easy finds earlier. i see many associates on the floor but none’s available for assistance when needed. i went to an associate to seek assistance and she asked me to wait so she could attend a phone call. this store used to be so much better.

Probably the worst Wal Mart in Canada. Absolutely no customer service skills, and literally always out of stock of so many basic things. Does the corporation not care about this location because it's in Surrey. Gotta wonder why this specific location lacks so much and has so many bad reviews. Wal Mart, show up for this location and do better please. Train your employees and do proper inventory. A lot of people depend on this location, it's the least you can do for your customers who shop here every week.

Worst walmart I've ever seen.I have traveled accross Canada, and many road trips to the US.You stop by quite a few Walmarts on these trips, this one has to be the worst of them.Dim lighting, smelly and overcrowded, plus the escalator was broken causing a five minute wait to get upstairs to the rest of the store.They do have a great selection of cheap small appliances, however lacking alot of the inventory you would take for granted in most Walmarts.

So.. the Walmart isn’t the best, I would have rated it a 2 star, but I wanted to make this review specifically because one cashier touched my heart with a very small, but imprinting action. I think her name was Anjana. I hope her manager sees this and gives her a raise or praise. I dropped a bottle of hot sauce after she scanned it and it shattered on the floor in front of me. She said it was okay, but I think she noticed I kept looking at it, and she actually turned to me and really asked me if I was okay. I know it seems small, but the way she asked it was so genuine and sweet, I really want her to know I recognized it and appreciated it. Thanks, Anjana ❤️

Please everyone aware of using Walmart self counters and check the bill!!! Today they accused me saying that i didn't bill my items properly and it was mainly due to the machine error. I ask them to check the CCTV to make sure that i was correct. When I was entering to the Walmart i had a bag of with my other stuff which I wanted to keep it near the cashier didn't take it inside but they ask me to take my belonging with me. When they were accusing they checked my bag also thinking i'm a theft that really disappointed me. This should never happen again to another person i felt really uncomfortable at that moment. The missing figure was 6 dollars. If i can spend $100 why should i be greedy for $6. Then the people who are investigating this were really rude.

No other nationalities but one, regardless of qualifications and experience, would be given an opportunity to be hired in this location. This store is racially profiling people that doesn't belong to a specific nationality. I highly recommend that the upper level management be involved in recruiting process.
