1705 Peninsula Rd, UclueletI have recently spent 8 weeks in wonderful Ukee, a time in which I met my family’s rescue dog from Qatar, watching him enthusiastically eat great food purchases from Ocean Pet Supplies, both kibble & raw. He also enjoyed inspiring treats over the Hanukkah/Xmas period from the store’s wide selection of products. Today I spoke to its wonderful staffer, Esme; who was helpful& open to making connections to myriad healthy dog products. 1601 Peninsula Rd Unit C, UclueletThis adorable little coffee shop is just what you need. Great latte and london fog, a few enormous cookies (even a gluten free option) and a view while you wait! I highly recommend.

Frankie's Resto-Bar Restaurant
1576B Imperial Ln, UclueletFrom out of town and was looking for a place to have a bite aside from the resort restaurants. Walked into Frankie's and was welcomed right away. Our server mentioned that Frankie had just grounded the meat for the the ribeye burger. We were sold. It was the best burger I've had in a long time. The portions were huge, I couldn't finish it in 1 sitting. Hats off to Frankie and the the staff for the great food and atmosphere!!
