“Big thanks to Dunbar cycles team. Specifically Stefan. The battery door on my Stages power meter broke off on a ride. Having signed up for the fondo, I urgently needed a replacement. I called all around Vancouver shops and no one carried spare door caps. No one offered solutions either. A week ago, I called Dunbar and Stefan picked up and without hesitation offered to call his dealer rep at Stages to have not 1, but 4 different Gen door caps rush-mailed. On the Friday before the fondo, Stefan’s team emailed me in the morning saying caps arrived for pick up. I arrived at their store and they laid all 4 out for me to choose one. To my disbelief, they didn’t even charge me for it! Super grateful that Stefan took the extra step to help out with the free replacement, and I was able to race the following morning without issues!”
“UPDATE: I took the bike in today, September 18, and David, the assessor, adjusted the shifter and some cables and now it works just fine. As well, he adjusted the angle of the brake levers and shifters so it is much easier for me to use them without extreme pain in my hands. Guys! I am female. My arms and hands are not as strong or as long as yours!
Initially, after trying the bike for the first time after an almost $300 servicing, I was extremely unhappy with it. It did not feel like an individual service and/or adjusting with my female frame in mind. I was angry. Mind you, when I first brought it in for servicing, it was peak of the cycling season and the store was extremely busy.”
