Community Thrift & Vintage Unisex is a social enterprise shop in Vancouver, selling a tightly edited collection of recycled fashion. It is definitely one of the best thrift stores in the city, with a great selection of items like t-shirts, jeans, leather, jerseys, sweatshirts, shorts, shoes, military and workwear, plus new and vintage accessories, local pottery and handmade cards. New stock arrives daily. The store gives back to the community by donating all profits to support at-risk people through programs like PHS Community Services Society and Indigenous programs. It is on the small side, which is nice as it is not overwhelming and perfect for browsing. The staff are nice and compassionate, with unbeatable prices and good finds. They offer helpful services like putting items on hold for customers. There is no bike parking out front, but staff kindly allow bikes in the front zone. It is definitely worth a visit.
this is such a cool spot, with VERY reasonable prices. they had a lot of size options, which is really important. the staff were super nice and friendly. also, as a bookworm, i scored with my bookish finds (on sale!). will definitely come back!
