I used to come here growing up but haven't visited since I left the area. But I stopped by today on a whim and had one of the best second-hand shopping experiences I've ever had... I found 6 pairs of shoes & boots all worth over 5K new together, for $600. And they were all in like new condition! The staff was super helpful and kind. Thank you so much for my shoe closet re-haul :)”

“I am only in Vancouver for a bit over a week, but will for sure return again to miscellany! I saw firsthand how truly kind and patient Zainab is with everyone (myself included) who stopped in; how willing she is to engage with each customer and meet them exactly where they are. I did get a sweet Lynx print by Richard Shorty, who is no longer walking the earth, and I want to go back and get several more for gifts. Anyway, if you are in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood, I cannot recommend a stop by miscellany more highly. Definitely 5 stars.”

“Big selection of vintage clothing for women and a very decent men’s section, which is unusual in the neighborhood and in vintage stores in general! Prices are not cheap but not expensive, fair for the quality of items there. Good selection of shoes in a wide range of sizes and a huge costume jewelry selection. Love that the tags have specific decade and info about each item!”
“I was super impressed with this vintage store on the commercial broadway strip. Even for someone used to thrift store prices, I can justify the finder’s markup here as there are a lot of gems! I find a wonderful vintage nurse’s uniform in great shape. I like the scarf bin in the middle of the store too. The atmosphere and decor is excellent. I felt like I could find everything. There are random mirrors scattered around for checking your look; my favourite is a long and wide one close to the cash register on the right hand wall. The employees were very kind. You just need to get their attention to open a changing room or look at the special room in the front with the super vintage/antique items. I wish I could see the dresses hanging from the ceiling a bit better, but I wouldn’t hesitate to ask if something were really calling my name. My husband was also impressed when he came and he is quite picky about organization. I definitely need to check out the other location. I passed it many times thinking it would be only full of tshirts, haha.”

Not sure how reasonable is for the store to offer such high rates, but I donno much about brands and the rates for high-cost secondhand clothes, shoes, accessories, so it is what it is. I am pretty sure the rent on Granville is expensive.
