“The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of mainstream cuts of meat and there are also other less ordinary things which are actually gourmet some of which include ox-tail, chicken liver, also frozen shrimp and prawns. Also they sell a Hungarian smoked sausage which is really delicious.You can also buy eggs and milk as well as condiments. Actually it beats the heck out of the bigger stores that have lineups and bad parking. The only thing you can’t get are vegetables and bread.I will support Rio Friendly Meats before I go to a big chain store.”

“I love this place! I frequently shop there and the bone broth is the best I’ve ever had. The beef, chicken and defender(mushroom based) broth are my favourites. I’ve always found the staff to be really helpful in offering suggestions and the owner Alan is really kind and puts so much effort into the quality and variety of the great selection of meats, cheeses, frozen options, broth, etc. I did try to buy some things the other day and found that they were temporarily closed.I hope they are open again soon. Very grateful for their products and will always support !”

“Friend Johnny, who's an actor who used to work here. He highly recommended this place and I've been there a few times. They're chicken is just amazing. I also had some of the cold cut meats. I tell you I've never had better quality meat at the prices as well as some eggs. For some reason the eggs here were just so good. Sean was exceptional. I've been there a few times and he's always served me well. Thank you so much. It's always great to see small businesses with staff that are happy to serve. “Anytime we are celebrating a special event or just treating ourselves to a restaurant quality meal we ALWAYS get our meats from Market Meats. It is not cheap, but that's not their intent. They sell THE BEST QUALITY products and back it with great service. I just cooked 2 beef tenderloins that would be $75 - $95 per plate at a steak house and it cost me $67 total. Add $3 for 2 baked potatoes and some broccoli and a salad and we are very happy here!”
