Like other No Frills, the focus is on price. It can get quite busy and it's far from the largest No Frills around, but generally I find what I want and sometimes a deal. Loblaws owns them

The 4th & Alma location is a small shop. Therefore, ok if you are only looking for staples. Even then, it's not rare to find their shelves empty, especially at night. Beef & poultry items are not the best. Selection is constantly changing, so you have to be prepared to switch items on your grocery list on the fly. For better selection, you will be better off visiting some other No Frills store. One of the reasons it was worth your time to visit this grocery store chain was their competitive prices. However, over the last few months, Loblaw's reputation has taken a hit from their perceived over-pricing in their stores...

Do not take a cart in this store. The aisles are very narrow and there isn't room to move past people. If you do need a cart there are two sizes make sure you get the small one. Not sure why they provide the large ones when the layout of the store is so tight.

Some people think the grocery store is on the small side, and granted their meat section is usually bad, but it's a very good grocery store if you aren't looking for any frills!

When I came in I saw this man with cross-shaped earrings and glasses in the Produce Department. He proceeded to greet me with the upmost respect, as when I asked him a question, he responded in a very professional manner. I do not know where he is now, but I hope he is having a great life.

Store selection is bad, and the quality of products sold is bad. Prices? It's terrible, especially for the quality you pay. Not always fresh vegetables, sometimes even rotten stuff on the shelves. 3 starts for the existence of the store.

The staff is extremely friendly. Especially the one employee in the produce section with the cross earrings. I wasn't able to get his name but he went above and beyond in helping me find everything I was looking for.

When I first stepped into the store, I felt lost and confused. I came in to purchase a few groceries for the weekend when I quickly found myself lost in the produce section. I needed to find a few vegetables, and when I did I struggled to bag them (I am a senior citizen, and it can be tricky for me.) It was at this moment when a young man approached me, asking if I needed his help. I never got his name, but I remember him wearing a pair of glasses along with some cross-shaped earrings. He helped my bag my produce, helped me reach a few things out of my reach, and asked if I needed any assistance to bring me to the checkout section. He was very welcoming, kind, and demonstrated the core strengths of what a staff member should have. I hope that the next time I come here, I will be greeted with the same hospitality as this fine young man has given me.

The guy with the cross earrings working in the produce department is really chill. His banana display was truly elegant in appearance, mesmerizing even! Makes my grocery shopping 10x better.
