Simon's NOFRILLS Vancouver is a small, convenient grocery location. It is a decent place and a go-to for nearby UBC students, offering reasonable and competitive prices compared to other local stores. The focus is on price. Its small size means it has a limited selection and it is not the largest No Frills around, so it is best for staples or picking up a few items. For larger trips or better selection, customers often go to another location. The store can get quite busy during peak hours, sometimes with not enough cashiers, and shelves can be empty, especially at night. Some note the beef and poultry items are not the best. However, it gets the job done, has free parking, is on a bus route, and is next to a liquor store and other small shops in the same plaza. While the selection is constantly changing, the store is convenient and generally has what is needed.
I love No Frills; you can find fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, Mexican products, and much more, and the prices are incredibly low. It's one of my favorite stores. Run to No Frills!
