Whenever I travel worldwide UPS is my go to place. I love how each locale is ibdividually owned - real example of how one uses whatbthey are given is key distinction. Today gwtting to end of Alaska land and cruise adventure so wanted to send some items back to make airport easier. Have done this before but never from a different country. On Saturday store opens 10 a.m. and I was there five minutes early. Mr Kim let me in early, provided box and tape so I could self pack two boxes - he even helped with taping. We finished the boxes, filked out custom work in detail and got all done (he had told me when I called the shipment woukd actually go out Monday). All in all done quickly without a hitch. I see comments about cold staff but competency is superb. I believe any perceived distance is cultural - owner (and family) may not be full of good cheer but whatever you need they will accomodate. And the price was remarkably not a huge premium to US only shipping (of a shorter amount). Still my go to shipping place and Vancouver makes tge veey high bar I set for UPS service. Keep up the great work.

This place needs a lot of improving in terms of how staff interacts with customers coming in. I walked in happy, cheerful, and greeted the staff member with a smile on my face to only be greeted back with an annoyed look. I said I had a package to drop off for a return and the staff member looked genuinely confused as to why I was there. He did take my package. Asked if I had the tracking number saved somewhere. I said I did and, again, he looked confused and irritated. It was such a confusing interaction that I had to end the conversation by asking if I needed to do anything else and he replied in a way to make me feel stupid for even asking that question since it was a pre-paid label. Please train your staff to be more friendly, helpful, and respectful towards others.

The customer service at this UPS Store is terrible. They just tell you that you have to call their general line for any questions, which is insane! I’m standing in a UPS store and they make me call UPS to follow-up on my package. The store is also super disorganized and just in terrible shape. I miss the Mexican shop that used to be here!

I just wasted 30 mins at this UPS store trying to return an item from a clothing store, I had to fill out a huge form which iv never had to do before when sending things back to this company and he kept asking me what type of shirt it was ect. Then when trying to pay the shipping fee the machine wasn’t working and they said it was my card which as soon as I inserted there was a problem so clearly there machine. Annoyed, this should not take this long , do not go here

As we step in the store, smile and even was occupied with other customers. We feel the importance and acknowledgement of the team. Meeting the team Ms. Mary & Mr. Reza, a very professional encounter, me & my husband can rate. Excellent customer service, 2 decades in Hospitality industry in Middle East, the passion to work, willingness to help and a legacy that we render, inspired others regardless of nationality. Please don't go for fax service. Very poor. The transmission receipt prints without receiver number. Then what is the use of that as proof for faxing. When I asked the young man said it's okay and it prints like that only.
Even though I gave the fax number in small slip, the young man was purposefully read the confidential matters while faxing and returning the papers to me.
No need to look into my papers, just the small slip is enough for number. I felt like my data was stolen.
Don't use fax and confidential things there.

I contacted Store 424 (previously on Burrard, now on Howe) by email to deal with packing and shipping art purchased in Vancouver through an online auction (Waddingtons). The first time, it took 10 days and a couple emails for them to get back to me with a quote. By that time I had already found someone else (Coquitlam Pak Mail, who were great).
Thinking I would give the a second chance, I contacted them again months later for a second art auction packing and shipping. I was told the art would be packed in a "tube". For anyone who ships art rolled up, you will know how sturdy these tubes are, and that crumpled tissue paper is used to protect the top and bottom edges of the roll. However, when I received the shipment, the art was packed into a basic triangular cardboard box (like a toblerone) with zero tissue (acid-free usually) paper inside. Not only was the paper that the Inuit print was on unprotected from the acid in the cardboard, it was bouncing around in the box! The edges were crumpled to some extent, luckily we were able to hide this under the matting, but not if we were float mounting it. Furthermore, the box could have been bent in half alot easier than a proper tube could be.
Maybe this store is fine for shipping a letter in an envelope, but their lack of knowledge and care that went into shipping my expensive Inuit art was unexpected and completely inadequate. Service over email or phone was also unfriendly and unhelpful. I will never use this store again, and if anyone is purchasing art through Waddingtons or another online auction, avoid this store AT ALL COSTS!
