“This shop is a true neighbourhood gem! The staff is a team of warm and friendly females of varying ages who are positive, professional and helpful. There are great finds in the store of different kinds of clothing (i.e. athletic, casual, formal, swimwear, intimates) that are of quality brands and quality. It has become my one-stop shop for updating my wardrobe! The owner and her team also do annual collections for women's shelter. The staff is truly dedicated to the community in multiple ways. I will continue to be an avid, supportive customer to Dragon and Phoenix. Do check it out!”

“If you're looking to get a new suit, you will not be disappointed going with the team at Blair Shapera!! I was looking to go somewhere that would provide a similar experience getting a suit as my wife got picking out her dress. The details, the personalization, the craftsmanship, not to mention the fun of it all! From the moment I walked in for my first appointment to my final fitting, it was an absolute blast. Being a woman who doesn't love the traditional women's fitted suit, I've had really bad experiences in the past where the designer or tailor refuses to think outside of the box when it comes to a fit. This couldn't have been a better experience and I'm unbelievably grateful for Blair (and the team!) who was beyond open and supportive of what I was looking for while also providing great insight on how to get the most out of your suit. This is easily the best decision I could've made for my wedding suit.”

“What a unique piece of art this lamp is. It was packaged securely, I was a little concerned being such a large glass globe in shipment. But it was so well insulated and arrived intact. This lamp adds such a striking element of coziness & such a beautiful thing is rarely seen. The seller was easy to work with and was responsive, they communicated with me about the lamp I wanted, which was not in stock. The seller offered similar alternatives, and also offered to make the one I wanted. I am glad we went that route, this is a gorgeous color combo! It is hand crafted with much skill. It emits a beautiful glow. I added an amber light bulb to give it an even warmer cozy look. Thrilled with this lamp!”
“My favourite store! I've bought lots of rings and other jewelry, scarfs, toques, clothes and incense over the years.
Usually good customer service! Except last time i went (Wednesday October 16...the employee working was rude and unhelpful. It was if I was a burden to her shopping for a ring (I bought another beautiful ring). No welcome and she didnt know the stones in the ring. She didnt seem happy or interested in the store. Definitely disappointing. I will for sure go back because the jewelry is wonderful.
Hoping next time employees are polite and knowledgeable.”

“I really love this store! Body positive sizing, environmentally friendly fabrics, and fair trade practices - feels good to shop here. In my last trip the staff were so helpful and patient. They were willing to look in the back for colours/sizes that weren’t in the floor, and call another location to help locate the exact items we were after. At no point were we rushed or made feel bad when they had to put back the numerous items that weren’t just right. I will definitely be back! (FYI: the Shauna and Kayana styles were my summer favourites!)”

Their consultation experience is really easy and calm. Some other brands have been really pushy about putting you in one of their gowns and I appreciate that my partner and I had a lot of space and time to decide on our own. “It was pleasant and convienient to work with Robin. She is knowledge, competent and personable. Robin made the whole process easy. She was willing to work with me as much as needed to make things perfect. She took my emails, calls and texts and was responsive. There were some minor things I needed altered on my wedding suit and they were very attentive and timely with the alterations. While I am still considering a final alteraion, I am not sure if it is needed. After the first two rounds of alterations there was only one issue, but it was one of those things that only I would notice as the person wearing the suit. Before the big day I asked people if they could notice, and even after pointing it out they could barely notice it. Even with it hardly being noticeable, Tom James is still offering to make the change so that I am 100% satisfied. My wedding guests gave me endless compliments on my suit, even the ones known for being harsh truth tellers and nit pickers. When I have the funds available, I will be working with Tom James for my clothing needs.”
“Have shopped here for years whenever I’m in the area. They always have a great collection and I’m always able to walk away with good finds. I love that the store is large enough but small enough so you can do a couple pass throughs and not feel overwhelmed.
Dropped off my first ever bag of clothing back in the summer and received store credit on the spot. Keep in mind the styles and brands they sell in store and you won’t walk away disappointed when you consign. A fantastic way to shop sustainably.
