“The first time I went to Trek was also the first time I got a flat on my first mountain bike. I have crossed the Tressle bridge hundreds of times but this was the first time on a bike.”
“The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Great advice and they have long memories for things they have helped you with. I don't believe that they work on ebikes. I love the fact that they don't try to sell you things that you don't need. Got a bike issue? Go to Macs!”
“I purchased a new bike from Oak Bay. What a wonderful experience. I was able to communicate with them via phone and email. They set up my bike very nicely and quickly and it was worth the extra wait vs the large LBS near me. I really like the decal on my bike and am very happy with my experience. I will not hesitate to use Oak Bay to purchase more bikes in the future! Thank you everyone at Oak Bay for the support and experience!”
“Update: returned on November 1 to get my balding back tire replaced. They went the extra mile by servicing the brakes and chain as well. So happy to have a reliable LBS so close by.
I made an appointment to get a yearly tuneup for my first generation Aventon Sinch. I did not buy my bike from these folks but they carry the Aventon brand. After five years I finally needed to replace the chain and freewheel but everything else holding up nicely with a few adjustments. Shout out to Dan for doing such a great job. Bike was in the shop for two hours and the cost came in just under $260 all in (inc taxes). The ride home was sweet!”
