Bolen Books is the largest single-location independent bookstore in Western Canada. It is a wonderful and delightful place for book lovers, a cozy and welcoming general interest bookstore with an impressive and wide variety of books. The store boasts an ever-changing assortment of over 30,000 titles, including new releases, classics, and books from local, up-and-coming, and self-published authors. It has large sections dedicated to kids' books, science fiction, cooking, travel, fiction, and mystery.
The store does not stop at books, also offering one of Victoria’s most popular selections of puzzles and board games. It has a great selection of fun and funky gifts and carefully selected non-book items. The store is made more accessible by its truly knowledgeable staff. It remains a treasure of a bookstore, a place that feels alive and reminds people why reading is so special.
I could spend all day in this store. It is my favourite place to shop for gifts.

It’s a great store with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Obviously they have a large amount of books but also have a huge magazine section as well. There are many great gifts and this store has something for everyone. It’s a must visit shop in Victoria. Everyone needs a great book, so buy it locally!
