Cascadia Liquor is a full-service liquor store on Vancouver Island with a surprising product range focused on local, organic, and hard-to-find items. It is known for having by far the best and an awesome selection of craft beer and cider, with a selection that keeps getting better. It also has a great and good wine selection, a good and diverse selection of all adult beverages including whiskey and bourbon, and carries all the ciders, premixed drinks, and hard liquor you could want. The staff are always very friendly, helpful, kind, happy to help, super friendly, and knowledgeable, with staff that knows everything about beer. The store is accessible. A consistent point of feedback from customers is the prompt for a tip at the debit/credit machine during checkout, which many find awkward, throws them off, and feel bad about. Several reviewers note that while tipping is optional, they believe the staff are so good that they should be paid enough without asking for tips, and that the option should not be necessary. This issue prevented some reviews from being five stars. Despite this, Cascadia Liquor delivers outstanding service and a great selection at everyday best value pricing.
