“I often drop by here to buy manure and gardening supplies. Every time I go, I get warmed up to the kindness of all the staff inside and outside. Everything that deals with people is never going to be easy. Nevertheless, I think their attitude toward us with a consistent smile is the best. I also get expressionless when I visit certain stores that do something passive with expressionless and indifferent. I love this place that always makes me feel grateful.”

“I had an excellent experience at Bosley's today. Selina went above and beyond to help me find the best products for my cat, who has ongoing UTI issues and can be quite picky with food. She took the time to listen to my concerns, explained the different options clearly, and recommended products that would support both urinary health and better dental hygiene while being easier for my cat to tolerate.

Her knowledge, patience, and genuine care made the whole experience stress-free. I really appreciated the personalized service and left feeling confident that I was making the right choices for my cat.

“Great little hidden gem. Neat variation of supplies with largest being PET, GARDEN, CANDLE MAKING but there's a few other things to check out here as well. And above all, this store gets five stars customer service! They have a family oriented kind of vibe and when I was leaving the store I saw someone helping multiple people load up multiple vehicles for stuff even though he was only helping one person at the time he came out. That's great customer service! Five stars!”

“I had a such a great experience with The Bone & Biscuit – Victoria Uptown.

I was trying to put together a care package for a friend’s dog who has been quite sick and has specific dietary restrictions. Tayy, the store attendant who helped me, was incredible. She stayed on the phone with me while walking around the store and carefully selected items that would work for the dog’s diet.

She really went above and beyond by packaging everything in a beautiful gift box with tissue, turning it into a thoughtful care package.

The whole experience was seamless and genuinely brightened what had been a gloomy day for our friends and their pup. Exceptional customer service.

“I was lucky enough to find Flora for my senior chihuahua and she has been an exceptional groomer. She has such a kind and compassionate disposition and is incredibly thoughtful and thorough. After each visit she would take the time to ask me about her health, and let me know if anything seemed “off” while she was being groomed, like a sore paw, or if an area was tender, which I so appreciated.

I will miss seeing you Flora, and thank you for all the love you gave to my sweet girl. You are forever in our hearts.”

“I am not one to write reviews when visiting any business in Victoria. This being said I must write one on the visit I had recently to the store in Victoria. Every time I visit to purchase seed, suet or merchandise at Wild Birds Unlimited, I am greeted with outstanding professional and friendly staff who are always willing to let you know they are there to help you to find your products. Their knowledge and excellent customer service is a 10/10. It is obvious they love their jobs and enjoy working in the shop. Even if they only have one staff member, it is obvious the person loves to show off new items as well. If I have had questions related to some merchandise, I have found that they are so helpful to ensure I get the best knowledge about it. I enjoy the videos of birds plus the extra walks and talks that are planned. The talk on Crows was exceptional. A great event. I believe this business is essential for Victoria residents who love their birds. I do feel more staffing is essential at times when it is very busy. One person is willing to help however, when it is busy, stores should provide extra staffing. I sincerely hope the present staff is notified of their excellence in customer service and people skills in helping people who love birds. Bravo to Wild Birds Unlimited on Shelbourne. Your staff and shop continues to provide a great need in our city. I think the staff requires extra rewards and compliments for the hard work they do to show their love of their jobs! “I love this pet shop! They have everything we need for our cat and our weenie dog and are so friendly and knowledgeable.

A few weeks ago I went in for Feliway or to try to calm my cat down on car rides. One of the staff (I don't remember her name but I think she was the manager) had just done a pet First Aid course and suggested that I put the cat in a carrier with a blanket over it so the cat couldn't see out. IT HAS BEEN A GAME-CHANGER. I can take my cat anywhere and it's so simple.

Their return policy is very fair and was a clincher for me. Staff handled my return with understanding and professionalism, showing a real commitment to quality customer service.

“I just had my bird’s nails clipped at Creatures and it was such a great experience! There are so few options in Vic for bird care, and the only avian vet I found was going to charge me $200! $150 for a full assessment (of my cockatiel!?!) and $50 for the 10 minute trim.

I paid well under $50 at Creatures, and Gary’s manicure looks amazing. Thanks Creatures, and Finch who did the service. If you need your birds nails or wings trimmed, skip the vets and call Creatures.”
