My experience with the TD Bank advisor at 1080 Douglas st was extremely disappointing. Despite scheduling an appointment over a week in advance, the advisor attended to me much later than agreed upon, displaying a lack of respect for my time. During the meeting, I attempted to gather information about the bank's benefits and asked specific questions, but the advisor showed complete disinterest in providing answers.In addition to the lack of punctuality, knowledge, and empathy, I must highlight that during the appointment, the TD Bank advisor made some discriminatory comments and unnecessary emphasis on my understanding of English. Despite it not being my native language, his insinuations about my comprehension were unpleasant and entirely unwarranted. Furthermore, when I mentioned that I was neither a Canadian citizen nor a permanent resident, instead of providing useful information or attempting to assist me, the advisor simply suggested that it would be better for me to return once I had a better immigration status. This discriminatory behavior added an extra layer of discomfort to the situation, making me feel belittled as a customer.In summary, my experience with this TD Bank advisor was highly negative. The lack of professionalism, knowledge, and empathy, coupled with discriminatory attitudes, demonstrates a lack of commitment to customer service and falls short in terms of banking service standards. I would not recommend the services of this advisor or, by extension, the bank overall.

This TD Branch no longer carries Loonies. I was just there today Jan 16th 2024. I wanted to withdraw for a roll of loonies. And the man told me "sorry we no longer carry loonies." That was that. I do not recommend using this branch

Had a really great experience coming into the brunch with my wife. Chinedu was really helpful and genuine not pushy like most advisors. He advised my wife on how to go about building her credit and recommended a follow up. Thanks a lot and we will definitely make time to come again

I will no longer use the ATM alone. Way too many scary people hanging around. Have seen evidence of drug usage inside the branch. Feel really bad for the tellers who have to put up with these people.

If i can give less than 1 star i would honestly.I came in because i lost my card, and requested a new one. I gave my ID passeport, Visa and my Driving license.. answered all the security questions and the supervisor didn’t even give me my card.. they said they need my phone in order to give me the card? I lost my wallet and phone but they still require me to have a phone!!The Supervisor sounded very Stupid and illogical.. her name was Kelsey and her associate were saying that we have all documents but still she didnt wanna help me get access to my account very disappointing from TD.

This branch has the WORST SERVICE we have ever experienced in 40 years of banking with TD. The staff are dismissive, and confrontational. They have made access to our cash almost impossible to get on 3 separate occasions.Today, they REFUSED to deposit a cheque into our account after we stood in line for almost 50 minutes waiting to get to the counter for service.In addition to the DEPLORABLE LACK of SERVICE from staff, customers are required to run a gauntlet of panhandlers and drug addicts to get into the building.HELLO.... whoever is in charge of this branch. You are damaging your bank's reputation for treating customers like they are something other than GUM STUCK to the BOTTOM OF YOUR SHOE.I am angry enough right now to close all my accounts and move to another banking institution.

Worst bank that we have been to.Rude staff and management.They do not give you any info and when you ask, you get some angry answer back.Dont open in time.Sending you back and forth between the business desk and ordinary desks and when you ask why they are just irritated and the answer is also that.

Worse bank ever..over charge for monthly use..savings accounts they basically give u nothing for interest, they love to sneak unknown charges on yr monthly statements so u really have to check thoroughly on those, 3 years in a row they've held 2,000$ of mine hostage & I couldn't get it released for over 6 months as the customer service on phone is the worse...u wait on hold over an hour only to be hung up on every time,it's impossible to deal with anything on the phone....savings a/c gave me $0.05..50 cents per month whereas RBC gives me $28.00 per month for half the amount of money...dont bank here. I'm closing my account just as soon as they release my $$....

I've been with td for 5 years. The very first time thinking of switching to other banks was due to really bad service here. Nobody just seems to care or know any of their product.

My debit card and online banking stopped working. The branch informed me that I had to speak with the fraud department and there’s nothing they can do until that happens. This sounds fine except I have been trying to call fraud for 3 days straight and each time it says, “There are longer than anticipated wait times, your wait will be 60 minutes or longer.” Well if the wait is this long for 3 days straight, you need to do a better job anticipating. I tried calling later in the evening and the recording says their hours are 9-5 EST. Considering how important this line seems to be, the wait times and hours of operation are pathetic. At this point, I haven’t been able to send an e-transfer for 3 days and who knows if I ever will be able to. Makes me want to close my account and move my Direct Investing accounts and mortgage. I get that you need to investigate, but you couldn’t make it any harder

You guys sure make it difficult for people with disabilities to use this branch. Especially during construction. Can't even access cash when the bank is closed. Remodeling. EVERY TIME I ask how much longer, it's ALWAYS a couple weeks. Ever try accessing an inside machine in a mobility scooter when the bank is full? It's so hard! How about a rebate on my monthly bank charge? lol
