“I had an amazing experience with this moving company. They showed up early with a team of four, worked quickly, and were easy to communicate with, no fuss at all. I had a closet that was super tricky to move, but they handled it with care and made it work!
What really stood out to me was how simple and straightforward they made the process. When I called for a quote, I got an exact number within 10 seconds, no upselling, no long calls, just a clear price. Every other company I contacted kept me on the phone for 30–40 minutes talking about insurance and why they were “the best,” and then pressured me to lock in the quote. Some even kept emailing and texting me until the day before the move. These guys were refreshingly different. Fast, professional, and respectful of my time. Highly recommend!”

I originally contacted some gimmicky big names and I’d have like 15 missed calls and 30 emails from them and it felt so forced. My communication with Go Truck Go was completely different and authentic! Richard was so reassuring during our emails about the move and it felt like I was talking to a real human. No hidden fees, no gimmicks. My two movers, Neil & Dave, were amazing! They arrived early to make sure they could get parking in my hard to park downtown neighbourhood. They were incredibly efficient and finished everything under the quoted time. Neil also had great chat and made me feel really comfortable/at ease (this was my first real move and I was nervous lol). I had an issue with my bed (my fault, not theirs) and Neil went above and beyond to try and solve it for me but was simultaneously conscious about time. Absolute class. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother day. The pricing was better than any of their competitors, even though for the quality of service they could easily charge more. Again, I was so stressed before my move because I’d never hired movers before and I’d read so many horror stories (took forever, hidden fees, damaged items, stolen items, etc). All fears erased! :) I hope I don’t move again for awhile but if I do, there’s no way I’d choose any other company!

“Kalen and Derek were absolutely fantastic! They were thorough, efficient, and professional while also being incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. They arrived right on time with great attitudes and worked seamlessly together. They even assembled our beds—our main bed is quite complicated, and they managed to put it together perfectly without any instructions, which was impressive.

“I had to move from a 2-bedroom in Fairview-Burrard to Burnaby. Unfortunately the day before the scheduled move, the elevator in the building I was in malfunctioned. Technicians came and weren't able to finish the repairs so the moving company hired more guys, 6 in total to be prepared to move everything down 5 flights of stairs. Thankfully, I bugged the building caretaker enough that he spoke to the elevator company and they were able to get it going and allow us to use the elevator for two hours and only for the move then they had to shut it down again and finish the repairs. With 6 guys it still took 2.5 hours to move everything into the truck. There was another wrinkle, someone dropped the ball at the place I was going to move into so wasn't able to move in there on the scheduled date. They were strict with 72 hours notice to book an elevator so had to move stuff into storage and a few days later things move be moved out of storage and into the new unit in Burnaby. The storage fee for 3 days was $350 which I thought was reasonable. I was really impressed with the professionalism and care shown by all the people showed during the move. We were in constant communication about various things. I would definitely hire them if/when I have another big move I need to do.
Update: On Aug. 1-2025 I had to move again, this time from a 2-bedroom high-rise condo in Burnaby to a 3-bedroom laneway house in Vancouver. Again, they came and hit the ball out of the park. I arranged it several weeks ahead of time, locked in the date and placed a deposit. Alston was in communication with me ahead of time about taking care of other things like patching up the pinholes in the wall from nails that were used to hang photos or artwork. This time it was a crew of 4. They were courteous, professional and careful. They didn't damage either my belongings or the building I moved from or moved to. I had an elevator booked in the condo for 4 hours and they finished it in 3, an hour to spare! That was very important because another tenant was moving in after I moved out and needed time to clean! Thankfully the landlord allowed the cleaners to stay longer. I signed a form to get my security deposit back after a walkthrough by the landlord's agent. When they were finished moving the goods into the laneway home, they helped to unpack some stuff as well. I'd definitely hire them again!”

I searched for a packing/moving company for my elderly mother who was moving from a 2 bedroom to another 2 bedroom apartment. Vancouver In The Box used their team of 3 to pack all of my mother's belongings very quickly yet carefuly. They used excellent quality boxes and provided plastic mattress covers and paper wraps that protected all of her precious belongings. Vancouver In The Box partnered with BBX Moving for the move portion, and their team were equally kind and communicative.
Both teams showed up on time and behaved very professionally. It's clear that they are highly trained.
Limor goes above and beyond to check in at various times throughout the process. There was a whatsapp call to estimate the needed materials and team size and there was a clear invoice that broke down all material and labour costs. She really seems to care about her clients.
I hope this review helps anyone looking to have professional packers and movers. I'll definitively be using them on the next move!”

“They are pricer than other movers I called but I could tell by the first phone call alone they were actually professionals. Some other calls I made and some grumpy sounding guy on the other end just gave me an hourly and didn't really ask me about the size of my move. Which I can only imagine causes problems come move day. Espcially if there isn't enough movers and everyone has a long, tiring, stressfull day.”
