My doctor specifically said to ask the pharmacist to send in a request to my doctor for a medication prescription. Although I wasn't aware, when I advised the pharmacist Bill this information, they were very rude. Bill explained in a condescending tone that pharmacies do not send requests to the doctor, as they require a faxed prescription. I tried to explain the situation, and they said I had to drive back to my family doctor in Vancouver from White Rock to request for a written prescription since my doctor at the time was not sending direct faxed prescriptions (during COVID I just moved to South Surrey from Vancouver & couldn't find a new family doctor). The pharmacist also said that even if they could send in a request, that it may take 1-2 hours for the doctor to respond (which sounded like they could do it, but didn't want to). I asked them if I could call my doctor so they could speak to them, but they declined and said I need to leave in case if another customer needs to come in as they said they only allow four people in the pharmacy including staff (although there were three staff and I was the fourth person, there was no lineup outside the pharmacy, and I was more than willing to walk out if there was someone waiting but Bill insisted). After calling my doctor and another pharmacist who had to discuss with Bill the situation, Bill finally said I didn't have to go to Vancouver. He explained the drug they have available was "basically the same" as my last prescription from Vancouver. But after taking that medication for one week, my doctor agreed that although the generic drug was the same, it was a different generic brand that caused serious effects. They had to give me another prescription. I called the pharmacy and spoke to Bill again to ask if they had that brand available so my doctor could fax them the prescription, and he questioned why I would ask for that generic brand when the other one is "basically the same." After explaining a second time, he said it won't be available until the next day. I didn't mind that, but this pharmacist is quite rude and condescending. I understand he didn't receive a degree or doctorate for customer service, but he could have had the decency to speak in a more respectful manner on both occasions. I usually put in good reviews for most places, but this is by far the worst service in health care I've ever received. Even though there are other pharmacists who also don't have this exact generic brand drug until the next day, I would rather go to their pharmacy than this one.

I like this Rexall Pharmacy because it's a compounding pharmacy with a chemist. They have a supply of lotions, creams, ointments, vitamins, cough drops, nausea relief and pain relief. Pay parking on the street from 10 a.m. to midnight, everyday. No stamps or mail service.
