Been to this branch its takes such a long to process my transactions and randomly unknown transactions will show up on statements watch out for new employees specially immigrants (Indian)

I have to say upon first impression, the bank looked incredibly dingy and torn apart, it's the closest bank to where I live so I decided to go ahead and open up an account for my own convenience, despite it taking up my entire will to enter inside once I was inside, I was greeted with the smell of chicken Tikka Masala, most likely one of the immigrants they have working opening up their lunch boxes, besides the putrid smell and horrible accents I must say the customer service was top notch, one of the male employees(Indian) after happily helping me open my savings account persuaded me into additional services including and not limited to getting a handy in the back alley for a five star review which I obviously declined

I so regret opening an account with Scotia Bank. Absolutely by far the worst bank in Canada. Their system is so slow at updating. Your balance and your transaction history can't be trusted. It will tack on charges, transactions, and fees days after they've actually taken place. Your balance will show positive and so you make transactions accordingly. Then the system will register transactions from days prior. So those transactions you made even though it showed you had a positive balance, we're actually made in your overdraft. And then suddenly your charged a pile of overdraft handling fees. What's funny is those handling fees don't apply to your account immediately either. It's insane.They'll pop up days after the fact. Everything is so slow. And all this does is screw you over and charge you fees and take what little money you have left. I've banked with every major bank in Canada now at some point in my life, and Scotia Bank is the only bank that has this issue. It's a ridiculous, ridiculous issue and I think I'm just going to close my account tomorrow.

My wife has accounts at this bank and we have had mostly kind of frustrating experiences there, however yesterday, Nov 29th we had a wonderful experience when we were at the window where Esha was working. She was so quick, so thoughtful and helpful. I hope she is recognized for the way she deals with folks at her window.

I would leave a NO STAR review if that was possible. I am so fed up with phoning for one question, and you can't get and ENGLISH speaking representative on the phone, that actually understands ENGLISH and speaks ENGLISH, instead we have haystacks that literally can't answer one question, because they don't understand the English language. This bank is a fail for me.

Do not go this brunch.What a poor customer service in an unprofessional manner.One of the tellers issued me two unsigned bank drafts - which would not work on the system at all!!! I had to come back all the way down to White Rock again, only to cancel the issued bank drafts!!! So annoyed and frustrated as a customer.. highly recommend not to go there.

Helpless teller! I have an issue with an unknown transaction! The fraud department told me to go to the branch. I went to the branch and the teller told me to call the company instead of looking into the note that fraud department left. I will close my account once everything gets resolved
