We recently re-did our house from top to bottom with Joan's impeccable design sense and the help of her amazing team. It started last year with a "couple of things" I wanted to change and then I just decided to go for it and do everything. Joan was fantastic to work with from start to finish, she is personable, has great ideas and executes them without wasting time. Her team are fantastic people to work with also and she uses very good tradespeople as sub contractors.
From start to finish this was a fun journey and we are beyond happy with the results; a new house without having to move!
I can't recommend this company highly enough.

Fabulous service and advice. We asked Joan to refresh our home and bring a more modern look. She created a spectacular design which we love! Wow! What a pleasure to work with such a great group of people. Joan and her team looked after everything during the COMPLETE remodel of our home. Their professionalism and attention to detail is second to none. There was never an issue they couldn’t handle. What I especially liked is that Joan takes the time to get to know her client’s likes and dislikes and makes sure you are happy with every choice made. (Even if you change your mind after something is already installed, sorry about that). Thanks to both Joan and Donna, we were always informed as to what was happening with every step of the remodel. Our home went from old and outdated to modern and updated and we couldn’t be happier with the result! Thank you to Joan and the Curtain Call for turning our home into our dream home,

Joan and her team are exceptional! My husband and I love working with Joan. We built our house in 2019 and she was with us throughout the whole design process. From the exterior house design to cabinets knobs…and everything in between, you name it. We also used The Curtain Call for our window treatments locally and also for our lodge up at the lake. Joan really gets our personalities and we would use them again in a heartbeat.

We found Joan as she and team performed the neighbour's renovation. We needed a complete reno of a 40 year old bathroom. She came up with a plan, the renderings, respected our budget and we set out to do the work. The good part is we hate shopping, dont know where to start so she gives you 2 options, pick one. Looks fabulous and modern. Fast forward 1 year, time to update the house exterior. She outlined how stone, new paint colour, exterior lighting would bring the house into the 21st century. two choices, pick one. Upon our neighbour’s recommendation, we commenced a 3 bathroom, & partial kitchen reno with Curtain Call in 2021. Joan and her team are extremely professional and a complete joy to work with. I have had the benefit of working with The Curtain Call as both a vendor and client. As a vendor, there is nothing more fulfilling than working with a designer or builder who fully understands the process. We build custom wine cellars and much more is involved than lovely woodwork. There is climate control, electrical, plumbing, insulation, vapor barrier...all to provide a perfect environment for aging wines. I advise Joan on what is needed and before I know it, its completed and ready for us to do a perfect install. Because of this, I became a client. Not only are they skilled builders and renovators, but their design skills are pure magic. I LOVE my home and new, custom sofa. Thank you so very much, Team Curtain Call!

We hired Joan and her team of designers and tradespeople to redesign and renovate our master bathroom, guest bathroom and powder room. Right from the initial consultation, Joan inspired our confidence in her experience, professionalism and creativity. She noted our style preferences in creating her designs, and was flexible about changes and finding areas for savings. We quickly came to trust and rely on her design sense and problem-solving abilities. Joan sources quality materials, especially custom cabinetry, and her tradespeople are very knowledgeable and reliable. In the end, she also updated our master bedroom, working with the existing furniture, repainting, and installing beautiful drapes, an area rug and a new ceiling fan. She replaced other light fixtures throughout the main floor and installed my husband's long-desired art lighting. The work was well scheduled and finished in a reasonable time frame, including minor touch ups and fixes. We are happy that the cost did not exceed her initial quote. She was always very calming, reassuring us that the job was not finished until we were totally happy. Which we are! Delighted! The results are beautiful!

I have known Joan for many years. Initially I used her services to address some complicated window covering needs in my home. More recently, we completed an interior resurfacing of our living room and dining room including furniture selections. I have found Joan and the whole team at Curtain Call to be truly professional and this has been tested as much when things did not go quite as planned as much or more as when they did. Joan stands behind her product and her services. I am very happy with the new space within my home. I am planning a kitchen renovation hopefully in the next 24 months and will definitely be calling Joan!

I hired Joan and her team to design and source a complete reno of the main bathroom after I watched her meticulous overseeing of the neighbour's whole house update. We had a budget and Joan's plan came in right on. She listened to what we were looking for and suggested design concepts we had not thought of. I thought the fee was reasonable. We were supplied with all we needed to do the work ourselves without the hassle of shopping. The design came with full renderings, specs, samples all professionally laid out. We would definitely recommend The Curtain Call and would use their services again.
