its seen better times, but its a unique location and the swimming pool is nice and fairly clean. Has transitioned to more of a monthly or weekly low cost rental housing, so its not like it used to be but its still got location and the Pacific Crest Trail

A great place to stop as a thru hiker! Very accessible from trail. They have a great selection of food and drinks at a good price. Got a bunk to share with 6 people for $35 including shower. Laundry was cheap and easy too. Thank you!

We Check in February sometime and have been here going on three months the owner and all works are nice and very friendly and helpful! There is a little store on the property also shower houses and laundry. Kids go off by them selves you have nothing to worry about just make sure they know about the snake and other animals around .Nearby activities: Acton market , shell , McDonald’s and alot more in the little town .Safety: Very safe and kid and pet friendly.

There were no rooms. I stayed in my RV and it was great! The people that work there and live there were all super friendly and nice. Will definitely go back.

The campground is 8 miles from the freeway in either direction that you come from. You'll be driving through the windy canyon to get to this campground. We feel it was excessively expensive, considering the amount of disrepair around the entire property. This is a place that makes a decent base camp since nothing else is in the area, but it was in no way a KOA 'Holiday Resort' at the time of our visit. I believe the campground disenfranchised from KOA since our visit, but I can't imagine it's improved. Our site had utility hookups on both sides. There were bags of trash sitting on the ground, the windmill had fallen down, fences had fallen, the dart board was hanging sideways, the boards for the recreation area decks were falling through, there was no upkeep of this place when we stayed here. For the most part it's a quite area which makes it peaceful. If you don't need a fancy or well kept spot, this place would probably work fine.Walkability: You're 8 miles from anything when at the campground because it's down a long canyon road.Food & drinks: The closes store is about 10 miles away

Although it is currently the off-season, it's quite nice here. The air is clean and brisk, and the leaves have all turned color and started to fall. There are cabins to rent and full hook up spaces for rv's.The perfect time for hot cocoa and walks along the river. There is even a small dog park. There is a train that runs close by which adds character and charm.Walkability: Great for nature walks.
