“This place has a fantastic selection of fresh produce and a wide variety of organic options! The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes shopping here a breeze. I love finding unique snacks and treats that aren't available elsewhere!”
“You can never go wrong with the produce at Gelson's! The best and sweetest fruits, unblemished and fresh vegetables, and an excellent variety of products - prices are comparable with regular markets but the products are superior by far! wonderful cheese selections, charcuterie, and excellent customer services! I drive all the way from Moorpark to shop at Gelson's! Fantastic shopping experience all the time!”
“The team at my neighborhood Aldi is nothing short of AMAZING. Their helpfulness and warm personalities keep me coming back time and time again. Manager Eric is incredibly sweet and always goes above and beyond to help.
There’s also a cashier—I wish I remembered his name—who is not only efficient, but absolutely hilarious and, most importantly, kind. Every time my mother visits from New Jersey, he remembers her and even brings up something from her last trip. That kind of attention to detail and genuine care is so rare.
The folks at this Aldi create such a nostalgic, heartwarming sense of community.”
“This is THE BEST supermarket. Its got way more choices than costco and no membership fee! They have parallel products to all your favorites at Trader Joes. I get 50 pounds of *fresh* onions for $11 and give them to my friends! Products that I used to get on amazon for $12 is $3.75 here. Sweet staff too. I never shop anywhere else.”
“Some great deals but not always lower in price than a major chain. We do, however, shop Aldi plus a major chain and we save a good deal of money. The store is always clean and cashier is friendly.”
“Very happy I finally came in here to get some kosher meat and some frozen chicken nuggets that are kosher for my kids. Very clean, doesn't have that stinky smell that butcher shops usually have. Very friendly staff and organized. I was very happy with the generous amount of chicken they give for their schnitzel. I saw the meat was also fresh! I will try their other meat next time I go in. Will definitely be back and recommend to other friends! They also let me know they have Shabbat dinners prepared for friday evening which I loved. I also love how they have a whole oven roasted chicken to take home that's kosher. Love this little gem that's close to my home!”
“Shout-out to Ralph’s Grocery Store in Malibu, California ?
They are truly exceptional when it comes to customer service, genuine care, and passion for people. Their team is unlike any other grocery store I’ve ever experienced — they feel like a real family. Everyone works together with kindness, positivity, and a spirit that brings nothing but love, smiles, and sunshine.
As I transition into my move to Malibu, they have personally made my life easier and supported me in ways I truly appreciate. The store is always clean and well-kept, and the produce is consistently fresh and beautiful.
If you’re looking for affordable options, great vibes, and genuinely good people, this is the place to go.
Special THANK YOU to Mary, Terrance, Brenda, and Walter — incredible human beings who truly make a difference.

“Walmart has everything you need for a one-stop grocery trip. The produce is fresh, and the prices are competitive. It can get a bit busy, but overall, it’s convenient and affordable.”
“Amazing selection of products that can not be found at non Aldi stores.
Fun assortment items--its a small Disneyland for adults.

“I went to return an item without a receipt and it was so easy. I really like shipping at Aldi's. Fruits and vegetables are so bright n colorful, fresh and a great price.”
“HOT DOG!!! You just can't beat the price, value, and convenience of the Costco food court - a great all beef dinner Frank, fresh bun and drink for under two dollars! Sometimes I will bring my own homemade salsa for a great salsa dog! Quick, low dough and always consistent!!!”
“I love the customer-facing staff here. They’re energetic, helpful, and friendly, all of which is rare for Ralphs’s staff.
On the other hand, the back end staff—stockers et al—are not doing the best they could. There are often discarded items on the shelves. More importantly, I’ve found expired stock and items infested with bugs. BUGS!!! I placed a pick-up order and received a bag of bell peppers that expired two months prior, and one was moldy.
The pros of shopping here outweigh the cons, however. The produce is well stocked, and there are plenty of offerings. I just avoid the deli bread, and I check the expiry dates on all food that goes into my cart.
Pics show molé sauce that expired in Jan 2026. It is mid April 2026 now. There’s a pic and my video of flies inside of the deli bread packaging. ?”
“Vallarta is a great place to shop. They have so many products you just can't find at a place like Vons or Ralph's.
Obviously, the Tortillas are incredible, and fresh. The selection of masa is huge as well if you're inclined to make your own. The baked goods are amazing: both Mexican pastries & conchas, as well as quality cakes and fruit tarts.
One of my favorite things about Vallarta is the meat department. There is so much less waste than American grocers. You can get pig ears, soup bones, chicken feet - all the off cuts that you need for some recipes but are otherwise hard to find, and I love that.
Top it off with a massive produce section and a delightful prepared foods area, and really I think the theme is a commitment to freshness and quality.
Vallarta is a market that makes me happy when I shop there, and if you love to cook, I think you'll feel the same.”
“Dan a manager at this store showed AWESOME customer service! He went above and beyond and made us feel like even in a suburb of LA one can have kind of a family like feel at a local grocery store. Not exaggerating at all when I say my wife and felt like a million dollars when we left the store today. Thanks Dan! I’ll never forget it.”
