“Delightful, well organized space with all manner of treasures. Proprietor was super nice, will definitely be back when I have more time, as there is an impressive amount of things to peruse.”
“Went there with Alex to purchase two Penny Farthings for his San Jose bike shop. He bought a silver and black one. We loaded it in his beat up green rusty old van. It was a spilritual experience. Greg was humble, fair. Gave us a discount on the black because it was very slightly used and the silver one (I think was made of stainless steel). Alex enlisted me to help him because I had a little experience riding scrappy original Penny Farthings in the Antelope Valley in Lancaster Fair parades and in Rosamond at the Tropico Gold Mine Chili contests.”
“You never know what you'll find out there.
There are a large amount of repeat vendors each month so you get a feel of what the different people sell. Pretty solid variety for different tastes.
Not a lot of seating or shade so expect to be on your feet a lot and lots of sun. Great lunch options from the food vendors.”
“I am very pleased with my purchase of an early Gus Stickley mitered mullion bookcase during the AC Stickley Auction in December 2025.
I have been watching these auctions for quite some time and have admired the early Gus Stickley mitered mullion bookcases. Unfortunately, the ones which were available were always too large for our space. Then in the December 2025 auction a piece came up that was a perfect fit.
I admit to being apprehensive about purchasing an expensive piece of collectable furniture that I had not personally inspected; however, after closely examining the photos and researching my reference books, I called Gus Bostrom to ask specific questions regarding condition and construction. Gus went to the piece and answered all my questions in a pleasant and straight forward manner.
The purchasing and payment process went smoothly, as well as setting a delivery time in Northwest Colorado. The bookcase was delivered free of charge, in excellent condition, and was even better than I expected. The key for the functional door locks was also included. The delivery driver was pleasant and very professional.
Based on my experience I have complete confidence in Gus Bostrom and will not hesitate to purchase additional arts and crafts furniture from AC Stickley Auction in the future.”
“My sister and I were very pleased with the entire experience shopping Lynn's recent estate sale in Oakland. All the workers were very friendly and helpful. As the contents ranged from antique to new, it was clear that all items were priced appropriately. It was evident by their displays that they put a lot of care into arranging like items together. I will definitely be on the lookout for their future sales.”
“This place was a magical find. 3 stories of a variety of different antiques. A last chance 1/2 off section, and the folks who run the place are so sweet.
Found incredible clothes, and an antique marble kaleidoscope(?!!)”
