Not sure why, but Chase decided to terminate our accounts with no recourse. Even the poor customer service rep who I called said "sorry, nothing I can do".. see and Chase is *specifically* mentioned.. they are very risk averse.

Do no banks make change for people? I don't understand

July 2023 by Richard B.
I was just getting ready to move my checking, savings, and financial accounts from Bank of the Worst, oops, West, it's West, that just merged, cough, got bought out by BMO. Not happening now. I just learned Chase Bank cancelled all the accounts of a prominent Dr whose consistent message is against the "jab", against big gov'ment interfering in our lives, exposing the lies of the WHO, CDC and Fauchi. And not just his, but the accounts of people who work for him and the children of people whom work for him. No warning and no explanation. Are we in China or North Korea? The fact these accounts were cancelled tells me he is dead on with his take on the world and where it is going. Why else would they retaliate this way. So along with not opening new accounts, I am also closing 3 other accounts I currently have with Chase. Boycott this bank if you value your freedom.

Although Chase isn’t the bravest when it comes to defending the vault, it really respects the economy in all markets and protects its customers at a convenient fee.

Vick was super helpful! Such a great banker.Christian Wong was the complete opposite of Vick. He asked my wife if she was a US citizen. That was completely inappropriate and highly offensive. She is a US citizen - but that is not the point. Obviously, immigration is not something that is allowed to be asked.

The Chase up near 580 told me "their banker" (there's only one?) was busy (for 3 more hours?) and that I had to talk to a Teller. The Teller couldn't help and tried to have me sign in on my phone to see what the computer wouldn't let her see. Through bulletproof glass. Great. I went to this bank the next day. I got in line to see the Teller; after a wait, and with a mix of patience and kindness, the Teller said I needed to see a banker :). None was available, so the branch manager opened up a desk and saw to me himself. This is what Chase is supposed to be; the other bank does not deserve the higher Google Maps review score.

This branch is poorly managed and the bankers are not properly trained. Chase closed my account for "suspected fraud" after waiting hours on customer service I was told to go into a chase branch. This branch told me there was nothing they could do and to call customer service again. Call again, another hour on hold, Customer service specifically told me the branch should have called them when I was there in person and that I need to go back in. I go back, trying to fix the problem, and the manager tells me there won't be a banker available for 3 hours. I told him if I can't see someone right away to fix THEIR mistake I would be closing all my chase accounts. He did not care at all. I will never use chase again and will be closing all my accounts. This branch, and specifically the manager that was on duty the morning of 06/26, ruined chase for me forever. Now I get to wait 7-10 days for chase to send me a check with my money. I am livid, and no one at chase cares.

For me this Chase Otis branch is very good, employees are very helpful especially Omar. The only frustration was their ATM (outside) that's not always working esp if you need cash urgently and I learned it's been an issue and still not fixed.

I hope the bank employees are more considerate these days. When my dad passed away 10 years ago my mom went in to do banking one of the bankers approached her and wanted to talk to her about all the banks she had her money in and wanted her to change all other Banks to Chase and wanted to give advice for her money. He was highly pressuring her and she was very distraught over my dad's death. He approached my nother?the following week and I told him to please not talk to my mother about her finances. She was very capable of handling her own bank account.I have to talk to a manager because of him seeking his own advantage with bonuses through Chase Bank and was very uncaring of peoples feelings and privacy.
