“We were deciding between staying at Alegria vs a cheaper option and I’m so glad we chose Alegria!! It surpassed all our expectations! My only regret is not staying here longer.The rooms are very clean, and one of a kind; with wonderful artisan touches throughout. The breakfast was impeccable - organic local juices, the hot chocolate used 3x kinds of chocolate and will blow your mind, chef Victor’s omelette is to die for. Several ingredients in our breakfast came from Allegria’s garden. The walk down to the beach is just magical and the beach itself is breathtaking.Alegria Inn exudes Mendocino Magic everywhere you turn and we can’t wait to return!P. S. I’d recommend asking the owner Eric the history of this Inn and the love story behind it. It’s a very moving story, and made Alegria Inn even more special to us.Nearby activities: Countless restaurants all within walking distance!”

“I spent a blissful 90 minutes with Rebekah and Sara indulging their Balance and Restore Offering consisting of simultaneous body work and sound healing in a cozy setting. Sara’s music transported all 3 of us beyond our cares allowing us to go deep within while Rebekah’s intuitive touch and masterful cupping relaxed every inch of my body. I cannot recommend this experience enough. 10/10.”

“We had such a great stay here in December. Our room was super clean and had stunning views of the ocean. Complimentary breakfast is included with bagels, cereal, fruit, pastries and beverages which was a plus for us! The property is beautiful and well maintained. They even gave us some wine glasses and a bottle opener when we forgot so we could celebrate our anniversary, which was such a nice gesture! Definitely would stay here again if we are in the area!”

The breakfasts were delicious, the Garden Cottage was spacious and so comfy (and quiet!), and the location was perfect. We were especially appreciative of the efforts made to accommodate our 8-month-old, even though this property is usually aimed at adults. Already can’t wait to return!”

“We recently stayed in the Emerald cottage at Agate Cove. I can't say enough nice things about this inn. Everything was perfect from the friendly staff, delicious breakfast, gorgeous views and comfortable accommodations. Agate Cove is now top of our list of preferred places to stay in Mendocino. We can't wait to return!Food & drinks: The breakfast buffet is something special more than a typical included breakfast and not to be missed. Each morning in addition to the buffet there was a made to order item; french toast and pancakes during our stay. Sourdough bread, yogurt and granola all made fresh each day in addition to the hot options egg bites, potatoes, bacon, etc.”

“I booked a surprise birthday trip for my husband here and I was not disappointed! When I told the staff we would be a late night check in, they accommodated and made sure I knew where to go for the room key, and they even had chocolate covered strawberries, champagne, and soft instrumental music waiting for us in the room! It was like we were coming home instead of staying at a hotel. Everything was so clean! The view from every room is gorgeous. The solarium, where the pool and hot tub are located, was enchanting. The beds were comfortable and the curtains were nice and thick, blocking out any sunlight so we could sleep in after our late night arrival. The room was so charming and even had a fireplace, which we used when it started to downpour. There was extra firewood in clear view if needed, water fill up and ice machines. The Christmas decorations were on point and there are even 3 hotel kitties around the property that like to welcome guests in the lobby. We had a quick delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant (the famous Raven, connected to the check in area), and they offer on-the-go lunches for guests adventuring out during the day! This establishment is an absolute gem, I couldn't be more please and will definitely recommend to others and want to return. They know exactly what they're doing and the level of care was so impressive.”

“Excellent stay at the Little River Inn for 4 nights in the White Cottage - the pics are from the back deck - you can sit and just listen to the ocean pounding against the rocks and watch the sunset and a sky full of stars! We also dined at the restaurant one night for dinner - service and food were excellent! And we ordered room service which was also great! We have stayed at other places and this is our 3rd visit in the Cottages! Already planning our next visit!”

“I was set to camp and paddle Navarro Beach, but devastating weather forced a closure as I was in transit. I am so happy Angel helped me get checked in after a long, wet day and made sure I was placed in a room with a view of my truck loaded with camping supplies, including my kayak. He and this hotel turned an uncertain episode into a night where I could relax and recharge for the next day's adventures. Awesome location, and I recommend Gnar Bar for some of the best noodles you'll get in NorCal.”

“My partner and I have stayed here three Augusts in a row for a standing Mendocino family reunion. The rooms are always clean, service is consistent and reliable, and the location can't be beat. Although there aren't a lot of amenities, I always come back here for the consistent rooms, helpful staff, and for being the most affordable option close to the downtown area. After our most recent trip, the Inn's staff went above and beyond to return to me an item I left behind in the room which I greatly appreciated. I would recommend staying here.”
