I walked into this CVS and immediately felt discriminated. The employee whose name I did not get was very rude and not polite. She made my experience very unpleasant. From the moment she looked in to my bag as I was crossing paths with her to the moment she was checking out my items and giving me very dirty looks. She had no reason to make me feel the way she did. Unacceptable. Very disappointed during my visit.

After going to endless pharmacies because of pompous pharmacists. I had found one that would accommodate my particular medication needs. Since I have gotten down over 12 different medications that had me taking medications more than any other activity other than sleeping and not remembering the day I was in. Being the guinea pig and having an incurable condition, Howard the pharmacist that formerly ran this CVS had assured me that as long as I would agree to get my medication filed through then every month he'd personally guarantee that it would be filled. At first it was just fine. Then came Michelle with her knew found authority she was going to personally challenge any and all prescriptions that she didn't even bother to ask about. (Side note they never seem to include the patient and often misrepresent the reality of they're conversations or in other words they lie. But it will take many calls to figure this out.) In any case after what one can only assume us being coached into pushing customers into refilling low cost medications they don't need for the high earning potential they also seemed to know just how much of a doctors time to waste in order to frustrate the doctor and customer attempting to act innocent of any conflicts they have just created, all in what can only be seen as an effort to stop more costly and less profitable medications from being prescribed or filled by their pharmacy. Despite the years of them endlessly wasting trained medical professionals time they ultimately will unilaterally decide that despite the endless medical records and facts of the customer history, they don't feel comfortable filing that medication and you'll note have to start all over. So thank you to the newest addition of the pharmacy Johnathan whatever, whom is not an advanced practice pharmacist and should not have the power he does, is refusing to fill a prescription that has been at the same pharmacy for 10 longer than he has been in charge. This was after a licensed medical doctor, insurance preauthorization and reviee board the previous pharmacists at his location all filled it, and the fact that they were going to fill it if I surrendered a portion of it, but as written would not fill it. This is regardless of the fact that it was lower than the initial dose when I started at this pharmacy and it is necessary to carry out a days tasks at about 75% to 80% of what I should be able and used to be able after that was about 80% of my normal prior to diagnosis and effects of my condition. So hats off to this pharmacy and hopefully the pharmacy review board sees this as a Violation of ada and either retrains or makes Advance practice pharmasits necessary for all CVS PHARMACIES.

So disorganized and monopolistic its comical.
Here's a story I never thought I've have to recount, but here it goes.
It starts with condoms. I walk into the store, go to Isle 14, and have to press a button for an attendant to come because they're behind locked glass. I press it three times. Finally a response. And the awkwardness of an older woman watching me select the condoms best for me is... Well, I guess like the 1950s?
Then, I need deodorant because I want to smell good and try and mask the embarrassment seeping out of my pits. But again, the product is behind the glass. I press a button for an attendant to come. I press it three times. The same woman approaches and jiggles a key in to open it for me, then stands there to watch me select my preferred personal scent.
Then I needed hair product. Again. Behind glass. Again, three presses of the button. Again, the same woman. Again, the same over the shoulder look at my while I make my choice.
Then, the cherry on top. This woman is one of two attendants checking people out. The self check out screens are both occupied by people who need help, and one woman can't figure it out. Then the same woman walking around to help me unlock all of my items finally decides to start checking people out, only for the register not to work.
I can say with full confidence that humanity has officially reached its peak and is starting its long decline. A monopoly, in control of every pharmacy in the entire country for 350 million people with billions of dollars has just made buying simple items the most complex process in the world.
At least the prices are high. Am I right?
I'm going to go stick my head in the toilet and keep flushing it until I forget about this absolutely ridiculously embarrassing and inefficient experience.
At this stage, my only suggestion is to make things worse because they won't get better. Instead of hiring more people and dropping your prices, do this:
Raise the prices
Cut half of your staff
Put everything behind glass
Then I'll come everyday to watch your one employee run around and lose their minds.

THIS IS AN UPDATE,!! AS OF APRIL 2, 2024. Slipping in the ranks?!! Walked into this CVS on Main St in Alhambra to pick up my Lady's prescription that was ready for pickup . This is a first? The young Asian pharmacy tech was rushing, moving fast, talking fast, and walked away mid-way helping me?! How rude is that? Who does that?. I'm guessing she motioned to the other tech to finish helping me? So at that point, i looked up in disbelief!! The young Asian gentleman walked up and resumed helping me. If that is professional.... i will have nor want none of it. I'll go as far as to switch Pharmacies to avoid that kind of treatment. So, the moral of my story is to not have this type of behavior and go back to basics. Train your employees for better customer service, they used to be really good before, because nobody likes to ne brushed off like that? It affects people's day. This is Jesse aka Big Chuy Sneeks from the Barrio San Gabriel With Respect, signing off for now . So , With that said, stay tuned for my next review, Q-vo!

The pharmacy of this place sucks! People aren’t happy with their job the way they deal with their customers. No smile, stiff voice and loud, always in a rush, and you couldn’t hear a “thank you” from them. Never going back on this place! ???

The store has a new night worker that stares you down like you are a criminal or poor or ghetto or something. I've been going here in the middle of night for years and have never felt so terrorized by such an evil look on an employees face. Like seriously just let me shop in peace lady
