“It was an absolutely pleasure working with Samera from 409 Woodbury. I took some photos of her space. The event space is truly a wonderful find! Her prices are fair and there are options to rent out either one room or the entire place. The outdoors area is spectacular! I can envision many weddings here and all sorts of gatherings.

Samera did a stellar job on making the space feels inviting, modern/rustic and with a hint of elegance. If you have an eye for design like I do, you will see endless possibilities in her space. I highly recommend you check it out for yourself.”

“We attended a family wedding here which was absolutely beautiful. They were married in the outdoor courtyard and cocktail hour was in the main lobby. We also enjoyed dinner and dancing in the large ballroom.”

“I go to a lot of events here! The space is great, the bathrooms are clean, and the parties are a blast! Only thing I wish was better is parking, but it's Los Angeles What can you do?”

“By far one of the best studios for photographers or filmmakers in Los Angeles! The team at Apex went above and beyond for a recent filmmaking workshop we held out of their location. The 7th floor stayed cool even with 70 people inside of it during a hot summer day. The space made everyone feel comfortable with way enough room in either of their studios.

It was downtown and really central to everything else, not a bad drive at all from the airport. While it's on a really busy street, parking really isn't that difficult - lots of lots nearby to use during the day or I always just book a spot on Spothero nearby.

I'd rent an Apex Photo studio anytime again.”

“The Theater: Very small & intimate theater, every seat is a good seat. They do have clean comedy shows every month.

The Parking: Public parking structure (90 minutes free). Entrance on Artsakh Ave. Right next to the theater.”

“I had my wedding here and I would just like to say that this is the best and most cozy wedding venue ever! The whole night was beautiful and I wish it never ended! Sam was the best guy as he helped us so much along the process and extremely helpful that night. The customer service was also out of this world! “Everything was amazing!! Walking inside for the first time was absolutely magical, there was soft piano music playing and all the lights cast a soft glow. The Halloween decorations were amazing and hilarious. The bed was super comfortable, the food was amazing. If I’m ever in California again, this is definitely where I’ll be staying.”

I have nothing negative at all to say about Friendly Hills Country Club. My experience has been amazing even from reaching out to inquire. TAYLOR is awesome! So sweet, kind, and helpful! I had a vision of how I was going to combine 2 birthdays into one and Taylor was very accommodating answering my million questions.

The price was reasonable and the food was spectacular! Everyone kept saying how good the chicken and veggies were. Not your typical bland chicken wedding food. So delicious!

I removed the dance floor to accommodate the children's playground and it worked perfect! I was able to use the restaurant chairs (since they look nicer than the regular chairs that are provided). They worked around my late guest (fed them even when so many were late). The staff is very nice as well! Every time I stopped by they were really nice (guy who sets up the rooms for events, waitresses, set up manager) they even offered to charge my computer in his office so that it would be fully charged and ready for when I wanted to play a slideshow on the projector.

“We could not have asked for a more perfect venue than the La Canada Thursday Club! We attended one of the venue's quarterly open houses. We had all of our questions answered and left with a list of preferred vendors. These vendors have been with the venue for what seems like forever so that was a good sign. Working with Ani at the club really put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. She was attentive to every detail and helped us understand what worked best at the club. She supported us, our families, and everyone who was involved in our wedding. If you are planning a sweet and loving wedding with your closest family and friends, this is the venue for you! The outdoor garden and courtyard are gorgeous. The indoor space is warm and cozy. It is truly a neighborhood gem!”

The warehouse vibe and mix of large indoor and outdoor spaces allowed us to get really creative with our plans. The way the sun hits is truly magnificent and makes for amazing photos, but is even better in person. Also, working with Monica was a joy. She’s extremely helpful and responsive, and was keen on helping in all the specifics of our wedding. If an open, blank canvas style space is the vibe you're after whether a wedding or photo shoot or other event, definitely check out The Revery.”

“This is a good place, I was at my nephew's wedding, and I liked it, there are good views of the passageway, also this house is located near the Shakespeare house, it seems to me they are quite similar, I also like the staff here, that is, how they prepare and hold events here, in general the house is not bad, and even excellent, I recommend everyone to visit it ?”

“I went to a wedding reception here...have to say it's a pretty cool place to have a party or venue...it's in the industrial part of town..so loud music is no problem..and the building is old with it's awesome new deco vibe...the parking outside kinda sucks...and definitely not in the greatest and safest area of downtown Boyle Heights..but still..it's definitely a great place to consider...I would go to this place again and again..”

“My friend is a member and invited me to a round of golf and it was a spectacular course.

As an amateur enthusiast golfer, It was a very challenging course with excellent views and the greens were well maintained. The golf carts were great, even has Bluetooth enabled to pair your phone and play music through the golf carts speakers which is a nice touch. The navigation was also clutch. Definitely a course for golf lovers.

Customer service was excellent overall and we really enjoyed a day of golfing and capped it off with lunch at their club house restaurant. Delicious food overall and a great way to end a long day of swing clubs.

I’d definitely come back again and consider a membership and the long future.”

“Hidden gem! This tiki bar is really spacious and there's a lot of decor - aquariums, regularly timed volcano eruptions, cute lights etc. I came on a Saturday night and it had great vibes - enough people to keep the atmosphere fun, but it wasn't too crowded.”

“So this is a cute little venue in the middle of Pasadena. First of all, I would like to thank the University club of Pasadena for being here at all. Fun fact, every wedding I'm invited to. Every one of them! I have to drive some untold number of hours to go to a destination for people who I adore that I will talk to for less than 2 minutes. And then I'll spend the rest of the time saying weird stuff to my friend's family and other friends who I have never met. And I will probably end up as a footnote to the wedding stuff. Oh hey you remember that weird guy that talked about his foot fetish? Oh, Alex? That guy sure talked a lot about that mental health stuff called attachment theory? Oh yeah dude was kind of weird. I think he has issues for giving himself. That's the kind of stuff that I don't want to deal with at a wedding and whenever I have to drive more than an hour to get to a wedding which is almost every freaking time. I have to deal with it but because University club of Pasadena open their doors to my friends I did not have to do that. I only had to drive 10 minutes from Sierra Madre to find myself a nice cozy parking spot because I showed up a little bit early. And let me tell you the staff they were on point. They treated us like true guests. The mixologists or bar keeps were superb. They were snarky. They made our drinks stiff and our faces happy. The guy that looks like Gavin newsom was a delight. A real slice of a guy. The gown that served me a shot of whiskey before I sang I Believe in a thing called Love by the darkness. I'm blowing Kisses at you. So the venue is spacious. There was plenty of dance floor. There was plenty of space for people to sit through the ceremony and I just have to tell you that I loved being here. It was such a great place for my friends to have a truly wonderful and beautiful day. And I'm glad that I got to sharing it. And if this chorubic faced ginger bearded man could find such Joy. Just watching other people enjoy themselves. Imagine yourself here enjoying yourself or letting other people enjoy the things that you enjoy. Can you even imagine that? No, of course not because I'm the one with the imagination. You're the one reading this. Go watch my favorite band. The go home Becky's streaming live now. Not really. “A very charming rental venue that we reserved for an evening to host a dinner for about 70 of our friends. our contact was Stella, who was professional and informative. our caterer and myself loved the kitchen-- it was spacious, great counter space and a great stove to heat food. also spacious fridge. Bathrooms and the whole venue was clean. There are multiple sets of french doors throughout the main room, which helps to circulate fresh air. we didn't have to rent tables and tablecloths from an outside vendor as you can rent them from the lodge. our guests loved the location. we plan on leasing it again. great for wedding, reception, party, or a dinner.”

“To start off I just want to say that the venue is amazing and the staff/security were nice and informative. Finding your seat was very easy and if you needed help staff would immediately come to help if you asked them. Also, as soon as you walk in the venue there is a place to get snacks/food if you got there early and wanted something to eat or if you like to eat during whatever performance you're watching. As for me I went to see XG last weekend and they absolutely rocked the stage. I sat in the middle sections of the Ochrestra and the view was phenomenal. The only thing I would say is if you're short and someone tall is in front of you they will obstruct your view while sitting down or standing up. Other than that, the Peacock Theater has easily become one of my favorite venues and I'll be sure to come again if an artist or group performs there.”

“It was my first time working with this venue. Honestly, I don’t really have any problems with them. Javier allowed me to decorate a day before obviously for an extra cost He was very easy to work with. One of the things that I love about this venue is the fact that his staff are very welcoming and accommodating to each table. It almost feels like you have your own private server. They were on top of the service. The food was really good and tasty. Overall highly recommend this Banquet hall. I worked in Los Angeles and everybody has good service. Also, a big shout out to the DJ Jaime Quintanilla! He really did pay attention when we said we want it to sound like a nightclub and how we like House music and he Went out of his way to keep the party going.
