“Having lived here for 30 years, it has been a real pleasure. When I moved in, the Romanesque Room was still there, and Ron Hobbs was running the Castle Caters. It has been my home since 1996. It is an exceptional building since last year's renovations, with new lighting and new everything throughout all the HUD apartments on the west side of the Green Hotel. The other sid is Condominiums. It is fun having Old town Pasadena Right there. The only drawback is New Years Eve and the noise. Oh well . I brought my wife into this and we are staying.”

My wife and I live in Washington State, and we chose this hall because the location was perfect and the space fit our guest count exactly and it exceeded every expectation. Teddy was incredibly kind, understanding, and professional from start to finish. Even with us planning from out of state, he made sure everything ran smoothly and that every detail was taken care of. On the day of the wedding, he went above and beyond to ensure everything flowed seamlessly and that all of our guests were well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious we’ve received so many compliments from our family and friends not only about how stunning the hall was, but also about how amazing everything tasted. “NOOR was such a beautiful choice for our event. The venue itself is gorgeous, and the entire space had the perfect atmosphere for celebrating with our guests. What really impressed us was the food. Everything we tried was delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by everyone at our event. The service was also excellent from start to finish. The staff was professional, helpful, and made sure everything ran smoothly without making us feel overwhelmed. We had so many guests compliment the venue, food, and overall experience. “Celebrated my daughter's 21st Birthday and had a great time! The space was perfect for our guests and still had lots of room for the private vendors that we hired that night. I read some reviews just now about this venue and majority mentioned about them liking the natural light during the day. Ours was a night event and I cannot emphasize how nice the photos came out when our photographer took pictures of our guests in the alley and against the red brick wall outside! It was CLASSIC! Venue was clean and staff were very helpful. I wished the response level was quicker when I had questions during the planning stages but I'll still give Whimsy a 5 star because that is more on me - being in the sales/corporate business, I need to respond ASAP or lose the deal type of thing. I wished they had a branch closer to where I live but either way, I will consider booking with them again in the future. Thank you Whimsy!”

The perfect modern, clean slate with stunning airy high ceilings, brick and concrete floors fit for any party as the backdrop to morph into your perfect vision. Staff and owner are always professional and go above and beyond and stay the entire time during events to make sure every need is met. The staff is very communicative during the ENTIRE process leaving planning a stress- free experience. Wish I could give this place 10 stars!”

“We had our wedding here last month and this is the best venue we looked at. Everything about it was what we were looking for. The venue itself is beautiful. From the inside to the outside everything about it was perfect. The door open up to the outside which made it perfect not to isolate guests from what was going on during the wedding. They have a full commercial kitchen which most venues dont. Athena, the venue manager is one of the most accommodating kind people we met. She worked with us the whole way through and was there the day of the wedding and the day before helping us. Our guests loved our wedding. They also have a large parking lot next to the venue so there was plenty of parking. We were also provided some attendants the day of that helped direct. They have a projector you can use to show a slideshow. For the price it was hands down the best value place we found. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue. The place holds max 30 tables so it was perfect for the amount of guests we needed.”

“My son and I attended the Morphicon Convention to see a fan based convention of Power Rangers and Ultraman. We also attended Anime Pasadena and were amazed by how much there was to see and explore. Attendance to the event was perfect ; not too crowded and the ability to take your time to embrace all around you. There is plenty of room to see your favorite actors, get autographs and photos, go to panels, and shop for memorable and collectible items. The atmosphere was great and very intimate to feel like it is more special and personal. The staff was informative and supportive, food vendors are available inside and outside of the event with average prices and good food to choose from. The overall appearance of the building was great, and the facilities were very clean. Parking is available near the visitor center, street parking and across the street is plenty of parking with very reasonable prices. The area it is located in is very safe and easy to find. It is accessible for all in and outside of the building, bathrooms are accessible, and the parking structures have accessible parking available. Also, Anime Pasadena is a great event to attend for one day or for the weekend and cosplay as your favorite anime character. There’s so much to see and the event stretches to the Pasadena Visitors Center and the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. The event doubles in size but it still feels completely comfortable and intimate as that you still can see and enjoy the panels without huge waiting lines. There’s a lot of vendors with great art, T-shirts merchandise, Funko Pop, key chains, stickers, stuff animals and characters, figurines, collectibles, Yugioh and Pokémon to choose from and so much more at some great prices. Kids will love coming to the events and having a great time with their families; it is kid friendly and the distance between each the events is not too far and air conditioning is available in all rooms.”

“This business originally opened in 1977 at another location. This location has 2 banquet halls that can be custom decorated for your event. One space has a capacity for 180, the other 450. They also have a kitchen for catering. Call the phone number for more information. They don't seem to have a website, possibly because its an older established business in the community.I recently learned from a local that she has been going to events at this venue since she was a kid. Her whole family has their weddings and receptions there. I live right by the venue and when I first moved here I heard the sounds of celebrations every Friday and Saturday night.”

“is a very nice event hall in a Pasadena neighborhood. It seems like it can accommodate well over 200 people, and the layout is very practical for gatherings and events. There is a full kitchen with an oven, plus a separate room that can be used for food setup or serving, which is very convenient. The main hall is spacious, and it also has a theater-style stage that adds a lot of versatility for meetings, presentations, or celebrations The entrance is also very nice, with a pleasant front patio area that gives the place a welcoming feel. We use it once a month for meetings, and it has worked very well for that, but I know it can also be rented for other events. Overall, it’s a well-kept, functional, and attractive venue.”

The food looks amazing but some of it, flavor wise, was not the best, in fact most tables left the same. “Great relatively affordable hotel! Breakfast is nice, there are Tesla chargers in front of the hotel. Rooms are nice also. Location is excellent for exploring the greater LA area, went from here to Big Bear, Mojave desert, etc. You're right at the highway. If you just want a place to stay that has all you need and decent amenities and is properly cleaned, this is a great place to stay. Bonus is the pool for a quick swim.”

“Amazing, classic track. Small greens and tight fairways make up for the length *although there are a couple holes that challenge with length AND needing to be accurate. As any spot in Southern California this is a high traffic course but I consistently see nice greens and once in a while they are lightning. Definitely worth the time if you are in the area. On top of that, staff and the restaurant are great. Have been, and will be back many times.”
