My wife and I live in Washington State, and we chose this hall because the location was perfect and the space fit our guest count exactly and it exceeded every expectation.

Teddy was incredibly kind, understanding, and professional from start to finish. Even with us planning from out of state, he made sure everything ran smoothly and that every detail was taken care of. On the day of the wedding, he went above and beyond to ensure everything flowed seamlessly and that all of our guests were well taken care of.

“FABULOUS FIND!!!! I’ve hosted several corporate work events here and even parties for my children. The perfect modern, clean slate with stunning airy high ceilings, brick and concrete floors fit for any party as the backdrop to morph into your perfect vision. Staff and owner are always professional and go above and beyond and stay the entire time during events to make sure every need is met. The staff is very communicative during the ENTIRE process leaving planning a stress- free experience. Wish I could give this place 10 stars!”

“Not sure how good the Pasadena Convention Center is, but the show of Art Center College of Design graduate show was GREAT!

However, I suppose the Convention Center is a very fine venue for the event.”

“1st time here. No complaints people were very nice, comedy was good. Food was okay for what I had chicken and a salad.(other said food was trash here) Water price was crazy work but to be expected in that atmosphere..”

Update: One major item I forgot to mention; this venue was near the site of the LA fires in Jan 2025. The amount of work the Noor team did to support the impacted local community left me so reassured that this was the ideal place to be married. “Celebrated my daughter's 21st Birthday and had a great time! The space was perfect for our guests and still had lots of room for the private vendors that we hired that night. I read some reviews just now about this venue and majority mentioned about them liking the natural light during the day. Ours was a night event and I cannot emphasize how nice the photos came out when our photographer took pictures of our guests in the alley and against the red brick wall outside! It was CLASSIC! Venue was clean and staff were very helpful. I wished the response level was quicker when I had questions during the planning stages but I'll still give Whimsy a 5 star because that is more on me - being in the sales/corporate business, I need to respond ASAP or lose the deal type of thing. I wished they had a branch closer to where I live but either way, I will consider booking with them again in the future. Thank you Whimsy!”

“I recently hosted my bridal shower at Elli Banquet, and it was truly the most magical experience from start to finish.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning..elegant, spacious, and beautifully decorated, creating the perfect atmosphere for such a special occasion. The staff went above and beyond to make everything seamless. From helping with setup to making sure every detail was just right, their professionalism and warmth made me feel so cared for.

The food was another highlight..everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. My guests are still talking about how incredible the menu was!

What really stood out, though, was the way Elli Banquet made me feel like my day was just as important to them as it was to me. Their attention to detail, flexibility, and kindness made the entire planning process stress-free and the actual event unforgettable.

“BEAUTIFUL place. The area itself is beautiful and the vast garden and walking path is amazing. You can host anything there from a conference to a wedding. Just don't park there after your event because they will lock you inside the gated parking area. That was my experience. I had to call 911 to get me out. I went for a walk after my event (which ended at 4pm) and when I returned (around 5pm) staff locked the gates and I was stuck. They saw my car and the park was still supposed to be open but they locked me in and left anyway. It took 2 hours for me to get out. I live 2 hours away. I must say the police that were on the scene were very nice. They did an investigation afterwards because this apparently happens a lot.”

“For our wedding-Had bridal suite and rooms blocked for guests. Overall great experience. Staff were attentive, helpful, friendly, loved the personal touches with welcome frame at front desk for guests/wedding, and the hotel has nice areas for bridal photos including front lobby area and in suite. Smaller hotel with smaller beds/room, but in great location and offers breakfast. Great timely responses from sales staff for months prior. Would stay here again!”

“Stearns Japanese Garden is a charming, peaceful spot, though smaller than most Japanese gardens in Southern California. It still offers plenty of beauty — mature trees line the paths, koi swim actively through the pond, and there are a few turtles lounging near the water’s edge. You’ll also find a couple of quaint bridges and a traditional tea ceremony house, which also serves as a lovely venue for intimate weddings.

The trail loops around the garden and includes a hillside portion, so keep in mind that roughly half the path has an incline. It’s not ideal for wheelchairs or strollers. There’s a small waterfall that adds to the ambiance, along with a modest gift shop and large, accessible restrooms.

Overall, it’s a quick but pleasant visit — great for a quiet stroll, photos, or a relaxing break in nature. If you enjoy Japanese gardens, it’s worth a stop, just expect a more compact layout compared to places like Huntington or Descanso.”

“Came for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised by the interior space. The exterior of the building is a little off putting but when you enter, just wow! The creative design possibilities with this interior space are endless. Very beautiful and from what I’m told, extremely affordable for the Pasadena area.”

“My wife and I recently got married on 11.02.24 and had our reception take place at Imperial. It was absolutely perfect! Since the beginning of the booking process, to the food tasting, and our final walk through with linen choice, guest seating, time line, vendors set-up, and drinks, the entire experience was truly stress free.

Amelia and Amber were ALWAYS friendly, honest, and professional. They both were always available to answer any questions we had and were always flexible to set up a meeting with them. We also appreciated how relaxed and straightforward they were with us because it made things so much more simple. It's easy to over think things when planning a wedding and working with them made it a pleasant experience.

We had a guest total of 200 that showed up and every single person loved everything about the venue. We aren't exaggerating, they all loved it! There was plenty of food for everyone and it was so delicious! A lot of guest said they wish they could take some home. During the cocktail hour, they provided sweet and fresh fruit to our guest and also served hors d'oeuvres that were delicious as well.

We bought our own alcohol for our specialty drinks and the bartender that they provided did a great job making drinks for everyone. We asked Amelia about the bartender and she happily gave us his contact. We were able to talk to the bartender, Joe, about the kind of drinks we wanted and how much alcohol/beer to buy. Joe is super cool and really helpful! Thank you Joe!

The staff did an outstanding job the from beginning to the very end of the reception. The valet staff were all friendly and helpful. They made it easy for vendors to pull in and unload their equipment. Guest had no issues getting their vehicles back and left with no issues.
Two security guards were at the front by the entrance, (venue provided) and kept professional all night. The guest tables and sweetheart tables were all clean and presentable with food already at the table and a lot of guest really appreciated how the servers were so attentive to everyone. As soon as a food tray was empty they replaced it immediately with another full one. To the all the staff, all of you are awesome!

“My son and I attended the Morphicon Convention to see a fan based convention of Power Rangers and Ultraman. We also attended Anime Pasadena and were amazed by how much there was to see and explore. Attendance to the event was perfect ; not too crowded and the ability to take your time to embrace all around you. There is plenty of room to see your favorite actors, get autographs and photos, go to panels, and shop for memorable and collectible items. The atmosphere was great and very intimate to feel like it is more special and personal. The staff was informative and supportive, food vendors are available inside and outside of the event with average prices and good food to choose from. The overall appearance of the building was great, and the facilities were very clean. Parking is available near the visitor center, street parking and across the street is plenty of parking with very reasonable prices. The area it is located in is very safe and easy to find. It is accessible for all in and outside of the building, bathrooms are accessible, and the parking structures have accessible parking available.
Also, Anime Pasadena is a great event to attend for one day or for the weekend and cosplay as your favorite anime character. There’s so much to see and the event stretches to the Pasadena Visitors Center and the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. The event doubles in size but it still feels completely comfortable and intimate as that you still can see and enjoy the panels without huge waiting lines. There’s a lot of vendors with great art, T-shirts merchandise, Funko Pop, key chains, stickers, stuff animals and characters, figurines, collectibles, Yugioh and Pokémon to choose from and so much more at some great prices. Kids will love coming to the events and having a great time with their families; it is kid friendly and the distance between each the events is not too far and air conditioning is available in all rooms.”

“A great experience volunteering to help out with float building. Helped cutting & glueing flowers, primarily white & dark red mums and red carnations to decorate the Saluting America's Band Director's float for the Tournament of Roses Parade!”

“This business originally opened in 1977 at another location. This location has 2 banquet halls that can be custom decorated for your event. One space has a capacity for 180, the other 450. They also have a kitchen for catering. Call the phone number for more information. They don't seem to have a website, possibly because its an older established business in the community.I recently learned from a local that she has been going to events at this venue since she was a kid. Her whole family has their weddings and receptions there. I live right by the venue and when I first moved here I heard the sounds of celebrations every Friday and Saturday night.”

“Came in on a Friday night around 7pm it was pretty crowded but they still had lanes available. The staff was outstanding thanks so much to our server Ella and the manager Tomas was a huge help to our entire party.”

“Amazing, classic track. Small greens and tight fairways make up for the length *although there are a couple holes that challenge with length AND needing to be accurate. As any spot in Southern California this is a high traffic course but I consistently see nice greens and once in a while they are lightning. Definitely worth the time if you are in the area. On top of that, staff and the restaurant are great. Have been, and will be back many times.”

“This hotel was just perfect for a business trip. Great rooms, great accommodations and amenities, a delicious continental breakfast, good parking, and close to do many nice and convenient places. Even if not for business, this would be a perfect place for a little getaway with a nail salon, a massage salon, and great food nearby. And guess what, they allow dogs! 10/10”
