“Frankly the best hardware store I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. They have EVERYTHING. Fans, leaf blowers, garden soil, fruit pickers, massive assortment of shovels and hoes, shelving, toilets, bidets, the biggest selection of screws and fasteners I have ever seen, and FROZEN RHUBARB PIES? I've never seen a store like this. Employees are incredibly helpful as well”
“Baller Hardware has been my go to hardware store and plant shop since they opened in HLP a few years ago. Staff is always super friendly and helpful + prices are great. Parking is available in the back lot.
I really want to emphasize that the indoor and outdoor plant shop here is truly outstanding. The owners consistently have the best selection of plants for amazing prices (they even offer pretty frequent plant sales with significant discounts). My wife and I have filled our yard and house with Baller plants and they all are super happy, healthy, and beautiful.
Special shout out to Keith who works in the plant department and is always very friendly, happy, knowledgeable, and helpful. He’s there almost every time we visit and he’s given us great advice on keeping our plants healthy and he even pots our plants very nicely for us when we purchase a plant + pot together (pictured). Thank you, Keith! And Ballers!”

“I called ahead to make sure they had what needed & they did. So I tell them ill be there shortly and so when I get there they already were waiting on me. So I pay and then one of the girls has a dolly with what bough. I get to my truck it and she tried but just wasnt able to lift it so I stepped in like the gentleman I am & did it for her and for that reason I give it 5 stars cuz other stores with mostly men working there won't even ask if you need assistance loading and this place didnt ask just did it. “About 10 years ago I purchased 2 6' double sided step ladders. The price was fantastic and the quality was even better. This last winter I left my Werner 28' extension ladders outside of an A frame house in the mountains. When I got there in the late spring after the snow melt, I found that the weight had crushed them enough that there were cracks in the fiberglass at each rung making them unsafe. I knew where I wanted to buy my new ladders but being from Washington State makes it tough to just go get them. But I do travel down there so I waited until the next trip. I checked prices from the big warehouse companies(not sure if I can mention Dome Hepot or Slowe's) before I went there but because of the quality of my step ladders I felt very good about making the purchase regardless. I had the pleasure of meeting Brad who spent way more time with me than I expected. He was extremely knowledgeable and just as friendly. In the end I purchased 3 ladders that day and came back for a 4th on my way back north. Even with CA 10.75 sales tax the ladders were cheaper than the big places. That includes Oregon which doesn't have sales tax. I would have been ok paying more because you usually do for better quality. But I saved over 15% total buy shopping there! A fantastic group of very nice people with a product of the highest quality. I'll be looking forward to seeing them again on my next trip through.

The store is extensive and masterfully organized. They are customer centric and regularly provide demo days and interactive product training. “MISSION West K & B (est 2005) is an opulent one-stop-shop kitchen and bath shop. It is a family owned and operated business located in South Pasadena. They supply customers with all of their plumbing, lighting, hardware, counter top and custom cabinetry.
Their showroom emits class and elegance as evidence by the unique-creative designs of their products. I was on the market of upgrading my kitchen and bathroom and they seem to have the stuff that I might need. I have looked all over Pasadena and they are on the top of my list. Parking is abundant along Mission street. Overall, it’s a great kitchen and bathroom store.”

“I needed a sliding gate motor for a commercial property and after much research decided on getting the Calimet motor, which is based out of Los Angeles county and has made in America motors.
I spoke with Denise who was extremely helpful from initial product selection, to configuration of the system, to checking the design with engineering and availability over her cell to answer any questions and procure additional parts I needed.
I recommend these guys for all your gate motor needs. I found out they also carry all the wrought iron gate parts too. I recommend the store and their products.”
“i really enjoy stopping by every now and then to browse the collection of tools, homeware, and kitchenware and to have a nice chat with the staff here! admittedly, i used to assume that they only had hardware tools so i didn't think i'd find something i needed until i stopped by on a whim one day after dining at Azay next door. i ended up buying some nice chopsticks and my friend bought a pickling container which we had coincidentally had a conversation about right before. i bought more random yet useful kitchen and cleaning tools the next time i went. goes to show how you can always find something you need or can be useful here! i sometimes get sad and feel nostalgic for small speciality stores ran by local families, so i'm really glad that there's a store like Anzen Hardware around and thriving! definitely will get a knife from here soon too”

I'm glad I called because not only did they have the material available, but they had an abundance in stock. Christian assisted me on the phone and had my order ready by the time we ended the call. When I arrived he greeted me with my order ready at the register for a fast transaction and gave me his business card for any future needs. Since then, I have become a regular and every time I go in, he and his team are always friendly and helpful.
