They can offer a variety of flavors that can mask even the most bitter medicine. Tuna is our cat's favorite! Today, for example, Rachel was able to get the prescription from the vet and complete the finished compound within hours. “This is one of the best pharmacies I have ever been to! They have most medications but if they happen to not stock a certain medication they will forward your prescription to another pharmacy of your choice so you don’t have to do anything. The pharmacists and other staff are extremely intelligent and super friendly. They fill prescriptions fast and they are very reliable. Great locally family owned business, they get to know everyone by name and are so kind. You can bring your dog in when you pick up your prescriptions ?? so it’s easy to stop in when you’re out walking your dog around the neighborhood, no need to make a special trip! There is also convenient parking right out front, so easy to stop in that way too.”
“Always clean and well stocked, but noticed they're more expensive now, especially with pet food. ESPECIALLY with Temtations cat food. Yikes! Crowd is always good. San Marino and South Pasadena! The pharmacy crew is ALWAYS great! One of the main reasons I go here.
I know the deli departments in markets are not profitable, so it's always understaffed. I miss being able to have them make my sandwiches to order, but I know the staff HATED having to do that. It took too much time. Oh well.

“In the olden days, before massive corporations pushed small mom-and-pop stores out of business, almost every neighborhood had its own independent neighborhood pharmacy. Many of these functioned as mini-department stores, having a wide selection of goods to meet the needs of the community: cookware, clothing, and gifts, just to name a few categories. Webster's Pharmacy seems to be one of these almost extinct businesses that has miraculously survived in Altadena since 1926. I was on my way to Bulgarinia Gelato when I noticed the cool retro signage of Webster's and decided to pop in to check it out. There's a large, free parking lot in the back, as well as street parking in the front. I was pleasantly suprised to find not only a fully stocked pharmacy but an absolutely adorable gift shop featuring BOOKS and other gifts. This includes a section devoted to ANTHONY BOURDAIN (a hero to many Yelpers, despite his utter disdain for Elite Yelpers, may he RIP). There are holiday candies, slippers, Christmas tree ornaments and pretty much something for everyone (there was even a section for folks that like to use "colorful metaphors", as Spock would say.) I'm not sure if the gifts are stocked year round but if you need something last minute for the holidays, Webster's can certainly help. Most items are full price but occasional discounts apply. Long live Webster's!”
