They’re painted chalk dresser, their knickknacks everything’s amazing.. and a shout out to Michelle who helped me over the phone. .I went there and I did not pick up a pair of overalls I wanted and several weeks had gone by and I called and she was able to locate them for me and so kindly put them in the mail❤️ sent me a tracking number. Contact me by my phone to make sure that I got everything I needed. She’s amazing super helpful customer service that only rivals to the level of Nordstrom .it’s one of my favorite stops. Perhaps my only stop other than the coffee shop in Jackson. thank you again Michelle and I cannot wait to see you tomorrow at Sasha’s. ❤️❤️❤️”
“This place is a hidden gem! I was staying nearby on a road trip and, as a lover of antiques and books, had to stop by to check the place out. My partner and I bought a few books, but we both regretted not combing the shelves more thoroughly and went back the next morning!”
“I give this store 5 stars. The one of a kind items that you can find in this place is amazing and the prices for the items are great. Least we forget the owner Lenny is a true gentlemen and will go beyond to help and find just what you need.”
“Water Street Antiques & Interiors specializes in wood furniture. Real wood... no MDF, plywood, or veneers. The designs are timeless and classic. The furniture includes new and reclaimed antique wood furniture and European and Colonial antiques. They have two locations. This shop is in Sutter Creek, CA, right on Main Street aka Old Route 49. They are located across from the City Hall.
The shop is gorgeously curated and staged. Beautiful, quality pieces. Impressively large showroom. Pricing is not expensive but not cheap either. They even have home decor and textile tablecloths for purchase. Walking through here makes me want to redecorate my house. They have glass cabinets, sideboards, night stand, lamps, dining tables and chairs, antiques (over 100 years old), vintage pieces (not quite over 100 years old but creeping up there in age)... plus so much more. The dining and living pieces have a style vibe of modern farmhouse, California coastal, and English country manor. All stunning.
I loved the new handcrafted cotton tablecloths. Beautiful quality, They were thick, soft cotton with vibrant colors in various patterns, some bold and others subtle. The antiques they had were unique, there were these two wooden spice boxes from the 1890s that intrigued me. One is Czech with tiny enamel knobs and name plates, the other seems to have German based words with metal knobs and plates. Plus there was an antique wood carved animal butler (circa 1900s) near the front door that caught my eye. It stands near 5 feet tall (with its base), brightly painted colors, adorable facial expression and outfit.
They have a website and can arrange delivery and shipping.”
“What a great place! We found a beautiful carving set and learned it had come from a third generation home just up the street. I found apple plates from my childhood. Proprietors are absolutely lovely! Helpful without any push to buy but you will probably find something you just can't pass by! Prices reasonable and displays are artfully arranged. We shopped Sutter Creek after and noted how E.T.'s had more varied merchandise compared to numerous antique shops there. Tight turn on busy Hwy 49 to get into E.T.'s so slow down and look for large blue grey with white trim bldg.”
“Love this store! I love finding old treasures and they had a lot to help fill my home.
Great prices!
The staff is so friendly, down to earth. I will have to stop back when back in Texas!”
“I love this shop I buy all my antique jewelry from here and coins. I live in Stockton so when I go up to go to the river or snow I always stop in here to buy me a piece or piece's of jewelry and the owners are so down to earth and treat you like that have known you forever!!”
“This is definitely one of my favorite stores ever! The Antique Gardener is so magical every corner feels so curated and intentional. From the rustic antiques to the cute garden stuff in the back, it’s such a lovely spot to Ooh and Ahh and maybe even find some inspiration to take home with you. Definitely worth a trip, even if you don’t usually shop for antiques.”

“Cool little shop with fun bits. Been here a few times and always found treasures. People are friendly. Obviously lots of places don't allow bags, theft is very high in local businesses. It impacts them a great deal more than a corp. People shouldn't take that personally, just leave your bag.”
“On a Saturday afternoon I was on the hunt for a cinch clip to pull in my dress around the waist...of course, the cinch clip is so 80s, no one had it in stores, but I took one look at this store and knew I'd find something that would work and as soon as I walked in, I looked in the glass case, and there it was, glistening at me as if knowing I was looking for it. $10 and it was mine, and it looked so cute, worked perfectly I'm looking forward to a visit to this store tomorrow ?”
“I feel like people are not accurately describing Pat. She’s is actually very quick witted and dishes it right back to you, if you give her a reason to. Really loved her store and the prices were very fair. Will be back!”

“It's alarming how many people are willing to outright lie and slander the lady who owns this shop. I've been visiting this delightful shop for years and the older lady being referenced is nice and NOT racist ! The shop is a fun place to browse and find interesting items. Shame on those that are lying!!!”
“My day road trip to Amador City included a stop into Victorian Closet. It is an antique shop specializing in vintage clothing, jewelry, women's accessories, and a whole bunch of other baubles.
The owner is Sally Knudson and she has been in business since 1972. On her 50th business anniversary, the town celebrated her and installed a plaque in front of her shop to commentate the anniversary.
It is quite a feat to be in business for that long. But as you look around her shop, you can begin to realize why. I knew I was in a retail shop but at times I felt I was in a museum. She has a great sense and keen eye for beautiful antique items that have universal appeal. There were vintage quilts, pieces of antique lace and embroidered items, dresses, hats. buttons, jewelry, baby clothes, curling irons, child's doll house, and lots of other things all for purchase.
The shop is clean and has a modern feel. The inventory is beautifully displayed. Items I found interesting and got museum feels from were the wedding dress display (there were dresses from each decade from 1900-1940s) and the lace display. There was a board that displayed the various types of lace, knitting, and embroidery; next to each sample was written info about the method and history. I got to shop and learn a bit of history at the same time. Two of my favorite things to do. Awesome.”
