“Repair work on my 2016 ford explorer, was more complicated than your normal water pump replacement. After work was completed, I drove for 2 days and had to be towed in. Ace found that the brand new timing chain was defective. They completely retraced all work to make sure no damage had occurred to parts and performed tests to engine for other damage. All this was completely paid for by Ace Automotive, along with towing from St Helena. My car runs like a dream now, I’m so pleased that Ace Automotive stands behind their work and their employees. “I was very stressed with the car breaking down out of town and it having been left overnight in an unknown area and it was a weekend and raining so I was doing a Google search for tow company’s open on a Saturday afternoon/ evening after reading several with negative reviews I worked my way down to Blackhawk Towing and the reviews made my mind up So I called to get a quote and see if they would even do it I got ahold of Christian and he said he could do it but could he call me back in a half hour because he was in the middle of a tow at the time so I said sure and he called back when he said he would he was very clear with his questions and answers and we set a time to meet To which he was there right on time if not a little bit sooner which was great He was able to load the car without any problems and we set off to take the car home Where he was able to get the car into the carport which I had worried about Christian was a great comfort on such a stressful situation and he was able to charge me less than the quote because it didn’t take as long as the estimate was for and on top of everything else that really helped the stressful situation of getting the car home I totally recommend Blackhawk Towing I don’t know any of the other drivers so no disrespect but I would tell you to ask for Christian if you need a Tow a definite two thumbs up ???? “I was stranded on the side of CA-37 after dark, on a Sunday night, and after no response from AAA for over 2.5 hours, the CHP officer with me called for a tow truck. Roger from Gibb's towing responded in less than 20 mins. He had my big van hooked up and on its way home to SAcramento (75 miles away). He brought it right to my door at 11:30 pm and parked as I asked. I don't hesitate in recommending this company and its service.”

“Car broke down in Vallejo. My roadside assistance couldn't find anyone to tow me back to Sacramento. I called this company, they gave me a quote. The driver told me he would be at my location at a certain time and he came pretty close to that time. They told me that I would have to pay extra if "special equipment" is used. I thought they meant tow equipment, as far as hooking the car up. When he got there, he used a portable battery jumper to drive it onto the tow truck. I was charged for that and it caught me off guard. I explained this to the driver and he basically ignored what I said. I explained it to the dispatcher the next day and she did the same. Besides that, the experience was decent and I would use them again if I needed to.”

“Purchased a 2010 Honda civic. The ac would work well then the next day not so well. Took it back to the dealer and told them I had a warranty though aul. They said I had a cracked condenser. It did take a couple of weeks before they got back to me but it was covered. The bill was $801 I had to pay $100. Other than the wait, i was happy. It went smooth and the car is fixed.”
