We have gone to this hotel for several years now. You do pay a price for going here. But, I am beyond satisfied with the service, cleanliness, ambiance, food options, pool, spa, etc. This year was the first year we had some "hiccups" with the hotel but they were VERY quick to ensure that we felt that their attention and care was highly focused in our direction. We will be definitely coming back here and I will give a HUGE kudos to Adam and Molly for taking care of us this year! More years of great memories to come for my family.

We are paying 1,500.00 a night. When we checked in we asked the lady when room service opened. She said 6:00. We said great this is so important to us. When we called the next morning at 6:00 they said it’s a ninety minute wait you should have pre-ordered! The front desk should have informed us. When I asked is there any other place we can go she said no nothing opens until 7:00 and they don’t have omelettes.

Grand Californian is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the vacation you need! Excellent food, great shopping and right in front of Disneyland!Food & drinks: The GH Craftsman bar inside The Grand Californian has the best drinks including the Spicy Dragon! We enjoyed the view and had a wonderful time hanging out!

Booked 2 nights in a standard room here during my wedding weekend. One night my BIL and the other night my husband and I stayed. We all agree that this is the comfiest hotel bed ever! The room size is nice for 2 or 3 people, but I can’t imagine more than that staying in a regular room. The hotel grounds are spectacular and actually Parkview Terrace and Brisa Courtyard are where we got married! Can’t wait to return in the future!

If I could give 100 stars for location, I would. It's all about being right next to Downtown Disney and the parks. I don't feel bad stopping off at the room a few times, because it might as well be a room inside the park.Everything else is "Disney quality", but the location is what it's all about!

It worked out that I was able to score a friends and family discount for this hotel and to celebrate my sons 6th birthday, we figured why not. When you arrive, they funnel you right into valet which costs $75/day? Or close to. We didn’t want to pay that, just because you’re staying here doesn’t mean you want to pay extra for everything. We made our way across the street to the peasant self-park for $40/day on top of room cost! The lobby is nice, they have a kids seating area with shows on, live piano music… it was pleasant. We dropped off our bags because our room wasn’t ready and the bell person said to just call them when we’re ready. When we returned, we had more stuff and didn’t want to pay for bell service. Little did we know, they won’t let you use their luggage carts. They took all the bags off and just handed them to us to carry. It was a blatant and disappointing display of making us feel lower class and I wasn’t thrilled with how it was handled. I figured the cost of the room would include use of such small services but alas, I was wrong. The room was dated but fine, no bathroom counter space or room to hang things and no bathtub! What kids focused hotel doesn’t have a bathtub?!?I loved how close you are to the parks but the early entry line is ridiculous and who wants to wait in that for a measly thirty minutes early? Also, they’ve changed it so it’s only one park each day and it rotates which is another stripped “benefit”.The pools were supposed to be heated but they were pretty cold. Of course the kids didn’t care and yes the weather was chilly but they tout the heated pools that I didn’t experience.I’m disappointed in the experience, we still had an amazing tome but my expectations weren’t met and I won’t be spending the money on this place again. For a few minute walk, you can get a luxury sweet for a better experience.Walkability: Very close to DCA and Disneyland.

This was a bucket list item of mine so when the stars aligned and I could afford a room here, I was stoked. The location can’t be beat - and it allowed my kids to come and go independently with ease.Staff were overall friendly, especially the bellhops who were hands down the nicest staff we encountered on our trip. The downside was definitely the dated rooms. Our wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling and I don’t think the rooms have been updated since the hotel opened. It was great to stay here once, but I honestly think Disneyland Hotel has better (or at least, equivalent) rooms for much more affordable prices and just a little more walking.

Great place to stay for work as well as play. The theme is a bit dated for my choice. Rooms are well maintained, but a bit depressing. Not a problem if you’re coming with your family and will stay out in theme parks for most of the day.Huge negative is lack of bidet in toilets. One has to use less hygienic and environmentally unfriendly papers to clean up after the deed! One great plus point is that they have food service to room. You can get basic snacks and drinks at almost all hours. You also have limited lunch and dinner if you need to have that in a pinch. I mean, that’s surprisingly amazing considering that’s mostly unheard of in American setting.

Rooms: We stayed in a Disney vacation club suite. Great view and amenities.Nearby activities: Enter directly into California Adventure from the hotel. Disneyland is a short walk.Safety: The great thing about staying in property is that you do feel safe.Food & drinks: There are several great restaurants at the hotel and close to the hotel.
