Northgate Market is a well-organized and clean store offering a great variety of authentic Mexican foods and ingredients. It provides an excellent selection of imported and domestic items, including beers, tequilas, dry goods, and a produce section with both usual and exotic fruits. Customers can find a great supply of ready-to-eat food like ceviches, chile rellenos, enchiladas, and various cuts of meat, as well as fresh cheeses, pan dulce, and items from the tortillería. The market also has ready-made salsas, guacamole, and convenient taco kits.
Prices are generally better than most supermarkets. While many find the produce great and everything fresh, some experiences note issues with specific items not being fresh. I always appreciate going to a Northgate Market. I was unaware there was one in Long Beach!.... The store was clean, staff was friendly.

Little northgate compared to most, but has everything, very clean, all employees are very helpful. My favorite northgate.
