“My family has been going to this Lego store in Downtown Disney since it opened. It doesn't matter how young (or old) the kids are, we love this store. You can make your own mini figures, buy bulk Legos and shop some amazing sets. We watched an employee building the new Lego Aquarium. Imagine getting paid to build Legos! Fun store with great stuff.”
“Very fun and kid friendly place to enjoy your time with great, strong claw machines and fun gatcha gatchas. Would recommend to those who enjoy little claw machines and gatcha gatcha!”
“Love this place! Great collection of collectibles you don't find other places. Very nice couple that runs the place too! We make sure to come by every time we're in town!”
“It was very busy when I went so I didn't know how buying, selling and trading pins works. But I have gotten a lot of advice tips and tricks from employees who work there and customer who sell and trade Disney pins.”
“The years I attended WonderCon were so much fun. It became my new home after I stopped going SDCC. Great convention space. So many awesome folks. A super friendly place. And with Disneyland right across the road, it was just an added bonus. Oh, and the food trucks outside. I need to return.”
“All sorts of Star Wars stuff to include high end replica helmets, ready-made lightsabers, and various droids. Did not spend any money. Counting years that will pass until it shows up at a flea market. It’d just collect dust at home. Carry on.”
“Very nice store find toys that i dindt find somewhere else. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Very affordable prices . i highly recommended this store for toys and bike repair.”
“The Baseline: For a theme park shopping experience, quality merchandise must be provided, an immersive environment must be established, and the items need to relevant to the theme.
Service: Disney cast members consistently and enthusiastically provide a great customer experience almost every time. The times that I have been here I have asked to find different sizes of clothing, picking up items ordered elsewhere, and checking out via mobile checkout.
Selection: The merchandise is constantly updating and rotating, but the toy section stays a little more consistent than the adjoining shopping areas. The next promoted show/movie is usually on display here for a kid buy.
Value: Price-wise is Disney Pricing. You are going to pay the premium price but some of these toys will be at a much higher price if you try to get the exclusives from EBay. Online the best chance you have is on the Disney.com shop section.”
“This is located at the back of the merchandise shop on pixar pier. They have a variety of mix and match slushy options, or you can order the rainbow unicorn. When they put all of the flavors in, you think it wont go, but oh my goodness it does go. On a day where the sun is shining, this is the perfect refreshing snack. We ordered one to share but quickly realized we should have each ordered one for ourselves. They put nerds on top and it is a sugar explosion for sure but it was amazing. Get the rainbow unicorn slush! My only complaint was the cast members here were all grumpy and did not look like they were happy to be there.”
“Super cool store with an amazing volume and selection of Disney collectible stuff. So many cool things it’s hard to wrap your mind around the variety and depth of collectible stuff that Disney offers. We were there in October so there was a Halloween theme going on. Pretty cool!”
“Great shop that hosts a good local experience. Atmosphere and people are very chill! Ignore the Voideff person who was asked by the judge if he would like a game win for his opponent having an illegal card. Dude said it was fine (the opponent switched his Air balloon card for a rescue board which had no impact btw) until he lost the game anyways and blamed the judge call.”
“Great price for Disney souvenirs!!!Came back again for more Disney merch!Ask for Kenny real cool guy.Another year (2023) to Disneyland and a stop at Mystical Gifts and Souvenirs!”
“my son loves this place...but i think i love it more. like the rest of the starwars area in disneyland, this place nails the immersion aspect of the experience. the droid parts on the conveyor belt, the assembly work stations...the decoration...it feels like you're in starwars.
we didn't have to wait at all when we visited, but there is an option to book ahead for a time slot.
i think it was $99 for the droid, and there's a $179 option that includes the droid, a "personality chip", and a backpack. i think the "personality chip" can be bought individually for $19 or $29 (i forget)...my son loves that little chip. backpack is nothing to write home about.
there's other fun stuff in that droid shop besides the droid building experience -- they have some pre-assembled droids, other accessories, kid clothing...my wife bought 4 different sweatshirts for my son, and the clerk was like "these are all for him?"
anyway, i think this is my son's favorite experience at the entire disneyland. too bad it's so expensive.”
“The bread bowls here are so good! I got a corn chowder bowl and it was just what I needed after walking around all day. The bread is toothsome and has just enough flavor to make it interesting without overwhelming the soup.”
“Pop comics has been my comic shop now choice for many years. It's super b convenient now to place an order online and pick it up from the store on either wendsday or Saturday. Great shop I look forward to stopping by!”

“My stepson and I couldn’t resist building light sabers at Disneyland. Yeah it’s a little pricey and perhaps overpriced but the experience was cool and the light saber itself is actually a pretty quality piece. If you’re at all a major Star Wars fan of any age I recommend building a your own Lightsaber. We paid a little extra to have them shipped home. Also, if you’re considering the display stand, get them there since the display stands are not sold online.”
“This was great fun. Definitely made my kid feel like a mechanic. You can really mirror your personality with all the customizations. But beware they can add up fast. Shout out to Kevin for helping us out!”
