Greenhorn Creek Resort, located in the scenic Sierra Foothills of Calaveras County, offers a beautiful setting with a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. golf course that winds through rolling hills, ancient oak trees, and historic Gold Rush artifacts. The resort features on-site accommodations, including the unique five-bedroom Caddy Shack, and amenities such as the award-winning Camps Restaurant, wine tasting at the Cellar Room, bocce ball, and more. Guests praise the course's beauty and enjoy various activities suitable for golf getaways, weddings, or corporate retreats. The restaurant staff, especially the chef and Roger in the bar, receive high marks for their friendly service and delicious food, with recent menu updates adding popular dishes like fish and chips. However, some visitors have experienced poor customer service in the pro shop, citing rudeness and unhelpfulness, which has impacted their overall experience. Despite this, the resort continues to be a favorite for its scenic landscape, accommodations, and amenities, making it a notable destination in the area.
Great golf course. Excellent condition. The greens are to die for. The views are incredible. The scenic rock walls take you back in time

Needs green repair from ball marks. Needs a starter. The course is challenging but getting sandwiched in a best ball foursome for 5 hours is not fun in 105 degree heat. Bev cart non existent.

Played golf...the course was challenging but fair and in pretty good shape. Tee boxes were uneven in places but overall a lot of fun.
