I look forward always to my visits here!i am always treated with kindness & respect. All staff go out of their way to help - I think some folks don't realize that on certain says the pharmacy & store have fewer members on board, & of course after lunch & on weekdays they have play "catch up!" Even so, they have always made the time to explain & help me (as a disabled customer this means so much!) They save me from stress & more than once they have protected my health with great consults for new Rx's. I find if I make enough time for them they always do the same for me! - this CVS is our local treasure!

Previously, I found this location to have particularly good service. But today, that was not the case. I now see what the other negative reviews are about, as the woman working was rude and dismissive despite having had a friendly exchange with her in the past.

I give 2 stars because every once in a while you might find an employee that is not sarcastic in answering a question. Otherwise 1 star. Only reason I come here is location.

This place sucks. Pharmacy never has medication in stock. One of the pharmacist was so rude. Says they order my meds, didn’t do it. Never coming back to this place

this place sucks. sucks sucks sucks. never had medications in stock. people in pharmacy are rude. literally have to come back 3 times every time I need to get A perscription. Such a waste of time.

They are the rudest and most unhelpful pharmacy in Santa Cruz. They have no compassion and little knowledge. It tragically lacks compassion to customers suffering.

Boy if you want to be yelled at by the pharmacist in the back thinking he is all that this is the place for you!I had a question if I signed up for the right Covid booster and he was so bothered by my question when he was trying to explain/ yell it to me his face was turning red, Between him and the woman that was not willing to even try to help me I ended up canceling my appointments for myself and my two kids. I feel sorry for all the seniors that go into this place because they will be completely attacked for having a question. I called and talked to Jeff the manager he confirmed that the way I got treated was not OK he apologized numerous times.

This review is related to COVID-19 vaccinations at the CVS in Aptos. Process was easy and on time. They had a separate check-in window for vaccines - and it was clearly marked. I took my daughter to a different pharmacy (different company) and stood in the main line for 20+ minutes to just check-in. Here, the appointment was on time, too. The pharmacist who helped us (there were two of us) was professional, nice, and engaging.

I went in last night and was greeted by one of the sweetest workers. Not only was she kind but she was extremely helpful in getting me what I needed as well as informing me of a sale they had going on. Helpful, informed and just a great human being. DEFINITELY the most positive worker and experience I’ve had at a CVS!

They sold me EXPIRED PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION. This was my first experience with CVS in over 10 years, and I will not return. A pharmacist dispensing expired medication is irresponsibly dangerous and could kill someone.When I called and alerted them, they were not remorseful, it almost sounded like it happens all the time and was "normal " for them. Despite that, it took them TWO WEEKS to put in the order after calling every 3 days to see if they had ordered it new (not expired). They also first claimed I would get a refund for the first order, and said I would have to arrive when a manager was present, during the weekday. When I called again a few days later, I was told I needed to come in during the weekend for the manager needed to be there. When I called that weekend I was told the medication was NOT READY. Finally, after almost 2 weeks I was able to go in to pick medication that was NOT expired; but now they changed their story and said I would not get a refund, that they never said I would (then why was I told multiple times the manager needed to be present for the refund?!)The single star is for the front/non-pharmacy staff. They gave me a $25 coupon for non-pharmacy items and were much more polite than the pharmacy staff (who clearly struggle to do the basics of stocking and selling medication that is NOT EXPIRED).

Tried for many years to overlook the negative attitudes of the pharmacy staff. Can't figure out how they keep their jobs. There are endless errors in pill count, insurance, and pricing. Most recently, pharmacy tech Larry had attitude from the jump. It seems to be part of the culture. There are many good choices in the area, either Rite Aid or Safeway come to mind. Let's vote with our feet. Hopefully then CVS will take customer service more seriously.

I am a surgeon trying to get my patient pain medication that she desperately needs and this CVS is refusing to fill her prescription. Instead of giving her alternatives it looks like she has to go through excruciating pain and is not a candidate for surgery. He said even though the prescription was legitimate, he was not comfortable filling the prescription. He also added that part of this is because she pays out of pocket for her medication‘s. Even though her mother pays out-of-pocket, she doesn’t seem to have a problem. Look out for this pharmacist!

Great service and the staff is wonderful!!! Every time that I had a problem, they made an effort to help! CVS is great, the problem is that in Aptos any successful business is bad and only dysfunctional small businesses get local support. Aptos and are disconnected from real life. All big retails: CVS, Safeway, rite aid, etc, is bad.

Pathetic no return/refund policy when a refill was not requested by myself or needed. Wife accidentally picked up. Manager was non empathetic and no help!
