“I tooked my wife here this morning because she wanted her Mexican chesse and bread to eat for breakfast. We been to this Vallarta before and it's not my go to store if I need to come here. The parking here can be bad especially with bad people parking ability and the crowd it attracts later in the day. However, this morning the only issue I had was a driver not parking all the way in so they blocked the lane. We were able to go inside the store and my wife got everything she needed. We were in and out within like 5 minutes.”

“When you see the old folks buzzing around an establishment like this, don't second guess it.This is the real Mc Coy. I was fortunate enough to live in Ensenada for a period of time, and all La Vaquita's items matched or exceeds all that Ensenada has to offer.Shop here, go home happy!”

“The Vallarta in Sun Valley is larger than the North Hollywood location. I find better selection and produce quality. The fresh cheeses in the deli are wonderful and economical. The people behind the counters are friendly. If you live in NoHo the Oxnard street location is adequate.”

“This review is for Valley Marketplace, located at 18345 Vanowen Street, Reseda, CA, 91335. There seems to be more than one Yelp page for this store, so I wanted to be specific. This is a large grocery store with a lot of foreign items. I come here occasionally when I'm in the area to buy my favorite Babaganosh. There are many options for produce, ethnic foods, fish, meat, snacks, frozen foods, cleaning supplies, alcohol, condiments, and more. The store shares a location with other stores such as kosher meat stores, eyebrow threading, each repair business, and more. Please check the expiration date of each product you buy here. They have such a large selection of foods from different countries that makes it easy for them to forget to take expired food off the shelf. No self-checkout but the staff who works the cashiers are pretty fast. Free Parking in the front of the back.”

“When you want unique asian food products, 99 Ranch Market is the place to go. No other large supermarket compares in Los Angeles. The only thing I find a little disappointing is that they do not carry ready-made sushi dishes, but I suppose that's because they value quality.Prices are reasonable for exotic asian imported food items.”

“Great service, this is where you go to get decent products for low prices. Not a huge selection of items, but corn bread, avocado are half off of Ralphs or Vons prices. Definitely go to Ralph's or Vons for your normal items, but worth a trip to get some discounted stuff. Maybe start here 1st? Also, checker was amazing & knew every code from heart, made checking vegetables easy.”

“Great store... combination of Trader Joe's & a neighborhood Mom & Pop store in Santa Monica...lol. Some decent deals, some overpriced....but ALL good quality stuff. Keep up with the Deal Guy on Utube for updates”

“The prices here win the gold metal if you're trying to save coins on your grocery bill. Most stuff is generic... with a few name brands thrown in. Great deals on meat! Please be aware, though, that you need a quarter to use a shopping cart. When you put the cart back it will give you your quarter. Lol.Great way to train mf to put their carts back, which is also a win in the parking lot. The one thing holding their head under water for that last star is that you have to bag your own groceries. I HATE THAT. But that's probably how they keep prices low af so... it's whatever.”

“I’ve been a customer for now almost over two years. Never felt bad about the meat products. The owner Kamal is very patient and help full getting the meat you want. I normally get the mutton. It’s clean and fresh. The lamb chop is fantastic. Also the fresh veal, this is a great place to get all halal meat products without disappointment in price and taste. I recently bought chicken leg and thighs the taste of it is great because it’s fresh hand slaughter. All the product are Zabihah Halal. He serves honestly to the community with lots of respect and love. I truly believe this place is safe to shop.”

“I have been here a few times over the years. It's very spacious, organized and well stocked. It's an international specialty store where they carry variety of imported products from Armenia, Russia, Persia, Mexico and more. You will find many unique items here such as imported cheese, jams, cookies, dips etc... they have a food court as well that sells kebabs, pilaf, salad and variety of hot and cold foods. They is also Sasoun bakery inside this store that sells freshly baked lahmajun and byoreks. Right next to it there is Lilits bakery that sells cakes, pastries and cookies. A lot to choose from. This supermarket can literally be a one stop shop, from freshly baked bread to the freshet produce and mead. They have it all. Prices are ok on most things but some things are very overpriced Customer service needs improvement even after many years of coming here it's still the same.”

“Harvest Market is a great local place in my neighborhood that I've frequented for years when I'm in L.A. Especially in the last few years they have really improved the place: atmosphere, cleanliness, items in stock. And the employees are always ready with a smile or a laugh. Large selection of beers and wines. Nice place when you only need a few items and a quick in-and-out.”

“Isn't numero uno anymore but great little store since it changed to superior grocers. There meat looks really good on some days, produce is good . Small bakery section and liquor section . A few options but it's a smaller version of a regular store . Perfect if you need something last minute or are in a hurry”

“Go way out of my way for this place particularly for their seasoned ground chicken, ground beef and chicken breast. It is out of this world amazing and you can bbq it, air fry it or oven etc etc.”

“This new Island Pacific in Granada Hills has definitely garnered a lot of attention in the neighborhood. Other than it being new, there's better food options and food stalls compared to the island pacific on De Soto and Roscoe. We got really good deals here for their meats and seafood. The bakery inside is also my fave spot to get pan de sal and Buko pie! The parking can get crowded but there are plenty of spots. It's shared among other businesses like Trader Joe's.”

“While in line my 4 year old accidentally spilled the horchata drink all over the floor, I felt embarrassed and quickly the cashier named Andrea who was very nice told me not to worry about it and called for clean up. The nicest gentleman Mamés Guadalupe came quickly and cleaned everything up within in a matter of 2 minutes. I apologized and his great attitude made me feel better, he said "things happen there's nothing to worry about, don't worry I'll take care of it ". These 2 employees really made my day . Thx you Guadalupe ( janitor ) and Andrea ( cashier) . Not to mention this store is spotless clean !!!”

“The SC Vallarta is the closest thing to a Mexican market in Los Angeles. It carries the stuff we need for making authentic recipes. We love the hot tamales. There's a variety to choose from. The masa to filling ratio is perfect. And they are so convenient for serving on special occasions as they are available year-round. The prices are competitive, too.”
