He went above and beyond with my car. I also appreciate the detailed explanation of the questions I had too! Very patient. I inquired about cleaning my left headlight since it was tarnished yellow and instead of charging for a full replacement, which was suggested by other auto shops, Bill's team did a fill on cleaning with their solutions/tools and it looks brand new! I now have perfect crystal clear headlight covers thank you so much! It's the details that matter and they take care of each customer here. Very easy to talk to about parts and get things done here with trust/ease. And they were so fast. I was expecting a few days for all my work but it was done in a few hours. “I recently purchased a classic car in Gilroy and was unfamiliar with the area. Following the good reviews, I had Gilroy Automotive do the pre-sale inspection and they were incredibly helpful and patient to me in the process. They were easy to talk to and explained the rationale for why some things were more immediate versus others and the inspection itself was easy and thorough, as is the online system to review estimates and approve/decline work. I live a bit out in Monterey, but have three cars and had been looking for a good, honest, and reasonably priced mechanic. I plan to use them as my regular moving forward.”

“This was back in March 2025, but we had a wonderful experience. Tire shredded on the freeway and my daughter and her boyfriend were stuck 2 hours away. The wonderful workers here stayed past closing to fix all the tires for us after some issues with the tow, did so quickly and were amazingly priced. Wish it was closer to home so we could go more often. Highly recommend.”

“They have excellent service .Hank and Leslie are very professional,personable , and honest. I had just gotten my brand new white Honda accord and had ran over a can of lilac spray paint. It went all over the front bumper, hood and everywhere underneath the car. When I got my car back you could not find a drop of lilac anywhere underneath the car and the paint job was fantastic. I've had a few other incidents where they have fixed my car and it's always perfect when I get it back. This is the best body shop in town!!!”
