“This was my first time using this location since my usually America’s tire in Millbrae is always backed up a few weeks. Since I was in the area, I was able to schedule an appointment online the same day. The service requested was a tire rotation and balance for my tesla model 3. It took about an 1 hour and 15 minutes to be done. The techs and employees were very helpful and I would recommend this shop anytime. Who doesn’t love free rotations and balancing when you purchase tires from them! Great value.”

“I started working in the building next door 7 months ago. In that time I saw several old vehicles come and go. I asked my coworkers about them, and they all spoke highly of the repair shop. I spoke with Mike regarding some work I needed done on my car. Don't get me wrong, I do all the work on my car, it is very rare I let anyone touch my car, but felt comfortable with Mike, and he did not disappoint. Hi fixed what I had no patience to fix and then some. Was it an expensive job? You get what you pay for. I paid for the knowledge and experience I wouldn't get at a dealership. I don't know anyone who would take their classic car to a dealership. When it comes to old cars, if you can't do it yourself, do your research and ask questions, then come see Mike at Hampton's. I trailered my car in from Gilroy and drove it home a few days later. Thanks again Mike, I'll be brining you more cars in the near future.”

“Matt and his dad Mike were very professional and put the customer first. They came thru in an emergency to weld a cracked rim. Needed to get back on the road asap since we were out of town guests. I had the car in at 8 and he had the wheel welded and set back up to go before noon. The welding is outsourced so this was a great turn around. This is a well ran business and I will recommend to anyone I know in Salinas.”

Howard moved my car onto the rack and quickly showed me the source of the problem: a loose heat shield and a crack near the muffler. He gave me a fair estimate and his son started on the repairs. Less than an hour later I was back on the road, my overall expectations greatly exceeded. It's a shame that this level of friendly, personal, and high quality service is now the exception and not the norm.”

“I got the chance to drive a friend's 1998 Honda CRV and was impressed with its excellent condition. According to my friend that she got the CRV as a mechanic special. She brought it to Austin of A & C Auto Repair and had it fixed. The transmission was replaced and some other work were done for a very reasonable cost. I then called 3 weeks ago for an 02 sensor replacement. I already went to a different auto shop demanded 255 usd advanced payment for the job and part to be done on Friday and it was just a Monday. That was then I decided to try A and C Auto Repair. I called and Agustin answered. Told him my problem. He asked me to bring my car, inspected and fixed it for way less than what the other shop was demanding me to pay. He showed me the work done on my 1997 camry. New part was installed and neatly done. If you want an experienced, does great work on all types of cars, trucks, honest and reasonably priced mechanic, visit Agustin at A and C Auto Repair Shop on 245 Front St., Salinas, CA.”
