Native Sons Wholesale Nursery is a California-based business specializing in native plants, perennials, grasses, and shrubs that thrive in the region’s Mediterranean climate, characterized by moderate winter rainfall and dry summers. The nursery emphasizes responsible planting and offers plants from California and other Mediterranean regions like Australia, South Africa, Chile, and the Mediterranean Basin. Although some reviews mistakenly describe it as a retail store, Native Sons is primarily a wholesale operation. Once a year, during their charity Open House, the nursery opens to the public, which is a popular event for visitors and supporters. The nursery is known for providing beautiful, interesting plants and excellent service, reflecting its commitment to quality and community involvement.
I worked at a boutique nursery in the Bay Area - we purchased beautiful and interesting plants here and were always happy with the products and service. Now that I live local I am excited to attend their one public day!

The bad reviews of the place are bogus. This is a wholesale business. The bad reviews are from retail customers. One day of the year Native is open to the general public.. and that's for their "charity" Open House. Otherwise this is a Wholesale business.

They were open to the public as part of the CCGGA scholarship fundraiser today. It's a yearly event that we love to attend. Start at the High school then go to growers.
