“We used to live in Grover bch and nipomo a few years back, and my mom would always take her lunch parked by the orginal Rons in grover, as she loved it then, and 22 years later we still do, as we love there location in historic Halcyon town now, and they have such cool and different things and cool plants for indoor and outdoor. We have lived in seven oaks in SW Bakersfield for a few years now, but come over to the coast every 3-4 months and love going by Rons and saying hi!”

“we needed some fencing supplies for a project and stopped in here thinking it would jusy be a quick trip. the guys at the lumber counter were super helpful, they even looked up exactly what we needed on thier computer insstead of making us guess. we ended up spending more time looking around than we planned becuase they have a lot of random stuff in the back. grabbed some chicken feed and a few pumkin plants on the way out which were way smaller than i expected but they look good. definately going back for more supplies next time
also priced better than the big box stores for the wood we got”

They have an insane amount of plants to pull from from several growing locations, they are both helpful and always happy to share their thoughts when I am looking for subs or identifying plants. “Wow!! I stopped here to buy a live flowering plant for a neighbor who recently was transferred to the AG Care Center, and Ron's Nursery & Gift Shop just BLEW my mind!! They SO kind man behind the counter turned out to be Ron himself, who not only GAVE me a darling teacup & saucer for the plant, but even WRAPPED it up in Grand Fashion!! I've recently moved here from Pasadena so was expecting to pay at least TWICE as much as the small Violet, but NO! He joyfully GAVE me the cup & spacer and all the delightful wrapping- for FREE!!
My elderly friend at the Care Center was blown away by it also. I'm quite sure it had to have made her DAY!”
