“Car barely started after we made a stop in San Luis Obispo on our way home to Los Angeles. We, therefore, went to Sunset Honda where, after turning off the engine, our 21 year old 2005 Honda Civic would not restart at all. It was a little before noon Friday; the service department and customer waiting room were packed. Repeat, packed! Our Service Advisor, Alonso Duran-Nunez, however, saw our dilemma and did not turn us away. He made it happen and was polite and efficient throughout the process. A couple of hours later we were on our way. Thank you also to the other Service Advisor, I think his name is Tom, who also had some input as well as to the Service Manager and technician, neither of whom we met, but obviously had everything to do with getting us on our way.
I might also add that the entire dealership, from the customer waiting lounge, bathroom, etc., was clean and inviting.

“Simply amazing. I took my car to two other smog check stations in the Central Coast. Both of these stations are great at testing.. but none really want to actually perform smog repairs on my older vehicle that runs perfectly... but sometimes barely does not pass. Enter Mike Dean. This was my first time going to this station. It looks a little sketchy at first, but Mike has a good old-fashioned keep it running attitude. He seems as if he actually likes to keep cars going. As such, he was willing to take on my vehicle. When I dropped it off, he calmly assured me - we will get it going for you. Understandably, he's quite busy... so it took a while - but that worked fine for me because I don't drive my car much, preferring to use the eBike. He got the car all fixed up, and for a great price. I'd definitely recommend Mike for this kind of work.”

“I called to schedule an appointment. They had availability the next day. I did not recognize the car it was not the same car I took in. My car was in a repair shop from a recent accident. I borrowed a car from a friend until repair was made. The car I borrowed had an odor inside I could not get rid of. When I sat in the car when Alex was finished. “Got a synthetic oil change done and the service was fantastic. They charged me $130, but I added a couple other services, which brought the price up.
I showed up unannounced in the morning and essentially just dropped my car off. They handled the rest. No wait time.
I wound up being busy for the rest of the day and wasn’t able to pick up my car until right before they closed and they were totally cool with it.”

“I was traveling to the coast with my girlfriends and one of my gauges indicated there was an issue, so we called & they told us to come right in. They checked all the fluids and it only required a very small amount of coolant.
Bryan was so kind and he didn’t even charge me for the service….i did give the two employees who worked on my car for less than 5 mins a tip; I was so appreciative.
