“I just want to say a huge thank you to Jarrred and Josh for there help. On Monday We came from Visalia, purchased a snowboard, bindings, pants and googled. When we returned home, we found out that there was only one binding in the box. We contacted the store, and Jarred told me that he would try and overnight it, as we were leaving on Thursday, unfortunately he could not overnight it, but he then drove 2 hours and delivered it to our house that evening. I have never experienced customer service like this,!! They went way out of there way to make it right, above and beyond what any other store would do. Please use this great store and pass the word on how good they are!”

“I purchased two pairs of these elevated casual walking mock tennis shoes from Greece. 50% off and sooooo comfortable. The manager convinced me to buy both pairs ecru and avocado green since they were such a steal. She was right! No pressure just pointed out that they were one of their staples and clearing out styles for spring arrivals. Love the selection, reasonable prices great service.”

“I needed to have a belt adjusted. Wasn't sure if Takkens did this type of work or not. Was immediately greeted warmly by a woman behind the counter who told me that "yes, they do do that, and how many more holes did I want in the belt." I told her and expected to have to write something up and come back for it at a later time, but she said she would take care of it right then! She was done within about 5 minutes and handed me the belt. When I asked her how much, she said, "No charge, just come back and see us if you ever need some shoes!"Had to share as you don't find this type of customer service very often anymore and you SELDOMLY get something for free. Thank you Takkens...I will be back!”

“Passing by I saw some boards on the sidewalk, one looked my size and they were on sale. My son recently got a soft top board and is learning to surf. He told me I needed a board so I went down to purchase the board I saw. The sales staff was very helpful. There was a young woman and young man at the counter. They made the experience very easy and fun. He got the board and put the fins on for me and she helped me find the right size leash and tallied up my bill. The board was a great deal and it is a lot of fun. She also showed me that they resale wetsuits and give you a credit for your old one towards a new one. This will come in handy as my son is 12 and growing rapidly. It can be intimidating to go in the surf shop but they made the experience easy and fun. Great attitudes and supportive. Happy I listened to my son and found my board at 805 Boardshop.”
