“I came in on a Sunday with my son who is almost 12 to buy his first full suspension mountain bike. Having ridden for many years myself I’m usually excited to go into a bike shop as they are like snowboard shops where everyone is friendly willing to help you out and a fun environment to be around. While we were there, there were three or four people working and two customers talking shop with two of the employees. My son and I were in there for 20 to 25 minutes. In addition I also wanted to purchase a full suspension bike for myself and have used Specialized bikes for many years in the past and was comfortable with the company. I went here because of a recommendation from friends in the area. After 20 to 25 minutes despite my son and I checking out multiple bikes and sizes not a single person even acknowledged that we were in the store. No one said hi, no one said can we help you with something not a single person came over to even acknowledge that we were in the store. For this reason we went elsewhere and bought him a bike the following day because I feel a bike shop is one of those places that customer service is just as good as the product you are selling. Individual bike companies sell their bikes, it’s the customer service that you expect in the future for maintenance of your bike and buying accessories and getting routine maintenance is what makes the shop a shop. It was really sad to see a company who only sells one or two bike companies to offer such poor customer service. UPDATE: I want to say thank you for the shop for responding to my review. The fact that they did, and quickly means a lot and that they care. I hate to judge a location based off first impressions, so thank you for responding and showing interest. I have changed my rating appropriately.”
