BEWARE!! When you sign up with one of their “special” offers, expect to be paying at least double that in the end. My co-worker warned me not to use Astound, for many other reasons and I didn’t listen. My mistake.

I'll grant you that the broadband is reliable and performs well (hence 2 Stars), but unfortunately Astound do not value loyalty, merely seeing it as an opportunity to charge uncompetitive rates (for that they get a Zero) They're busy signing up new customers at as little as $20/month (with a 24 month lock), yet want existing customers to pay almost $100/month. I called, complained and was offered a deal for $41 (inc equipment) - yet after only 1 month, they pulled the offer (without notice) and reverted to almost $100... I've spent almost half a day trying to resolve this, but you either can't reach anyone, or they just don't care! If you can get the New Customer deal, good for you! If you're an existing/loyal customer - you'll get screwed! I'll be cancelling my service....
Then you'll get a reply from Jackie! Bottom line is they breached the contract we agreed to last month and doubled my price! Perhaps I shouldn't have given them 2 Stars after all.
Do not trust Astound...

If I could give a zero rating I would. they suddenly decided to be incompetent. When it comes to adjusting a bill when closing out service. They first tripled the rate from the introductory price, claiming and downright gaslighting that it was the friend's price and the I should be grateful. They were shocked then I was surprised after all it was on page 4 of the paper bill PDF. I'm talking to them," oh you return the equipment 2 days after the billing cycle started That's why you get the full $96, for 2 days." and talking to their corporate office just now in fact Oh you should pick up on the fact that it doesn't actually indicate any services it on the last bill issued, So you should be picking up on that. Go with Verizon home,T-Mobile home or AT&T air. Save yourself trouble and cut the cord.

It is hard to find good help. I have had some terrible experiences with Wave customer service over the phone, resulting in a big waste of time. The Auburn location is so helpful. The lady that works at that location is amazing.

On June 26th additional channels were removed from our list. We continue to pay a high dollar amount for services.

I don’t think I’ve ever wrote a review anywhere before but I’ve literally had a crazy making experience. Just about every two or three months my service gets terminated or threatened to be terminated because of unpaid fees. When I call confused because I have autopay set up, they tell me I don’t have autopay set up. So I set it up again, pay past fees confirm what my next month payment will be and then ask them to note down everything we discussed. The next month I get a $100+ fee when it was supposed to be only $30 and start the cycle all over again. It’s actually been crazy and I can’t say enough how many fees keep coming out of the woodwork every other month. Really very awful

Tech appeared 1.5 hrs after window of 8-12. Told me he wasn’t given my phone number so he could advise me until just before he arrived. Install went smoothly and I am happy with performance of internet.

They actually have the nerve to try to charge me to get an answer as to why their network has been down for six hours. Thank God that AT&T fiber network is now available in are my area!
